I'm assuming that the other 32 teams are in there...and that we bring up the rear.

Doesn't surprise me though. The Greenwood signing has caused headaches down here in Houston.

Just from reading what ole Czarnecki says about the Texans alone makes me think he had a deadline and had to throw out some B.S. to appease his editors. Maybe it is just my 12 oz friends talking, but I would bet there is about 1-2 man hours total spent researching various team needs and personnel situations for all of the various teams involved in this little diatribe. I'm sure ole Czarnecki has many more sources than I, but this dude is basically saying the Texans Personnel Office went out and grabbed Greenwood on a whim without thinking about the monitary confilcts at the ILB position, which I fail to see at all. To insinuate that we "may have to trade Jamie Sharper" because of Greenwoods signing bonus is absurd. Sorry, I could rant on about this type journalistic garbage, but I will stop here. :taz:

um.. i think that guy is a moron with no understanding of the organization.

why does he say signing greenwood has forced us to trade sharper? it didnt put us over the cap.. we still have plenty of money to sign draft picks. on top of that.. does he even know who Greenwood is and why he is a good pickup for us? he certainly doesnt say anything about it other than "they gave greenwood alot of money and thats not good".

This guy reads newspaper clippings to form his opinions.

yet he ranks Green Bay ABOVE US.. when all they have done is lose two starters on their oline and picked up nobody.

this guy is a fool... dont put any weight in what he says.

The signing of Greenwood ALLOWED us to trade sharper.. thus getting us something in return for an expensive, over the hill LB who, while still a very good player, would not have been resigned next season when his contract came up.

And Foreman is a backup who has been playing as our starter. the reason we didnt "move on our LBs while getting greenwood done" is because we wanted to sign greenwood before we tried to REDO our LBs. signing greenwood ALLOWED us to trade sharper.. it didnt FORCE us to trade sharper.

gah.. i hate ignorant analysts.

I wonder if he heard about the Tennessee Titans clearance sale.

I place no stock in what Czarnecki say about Greenwood. We NEEDED TO UPGRADE THE SPEED AND VERSATILITY IN OUR DEFENSE. STUDYING IN STL, I DON'T GET MUCH TEXANS GAMES, BUT WATCHING THE NATIONAL GAME VS. PACKERS, ALL I COULD REMEMBER WAS FARVE GUNNING A PASS, AND FOREMAN FALLING ON HIS BACK. GET RID OF THE FORMER 5TH ROUNDER!!!

I wish he ranked all of the other teams because I'm eager to see what he thought of the Hayward signing. If he doesn't think that was important, I wouldn't take his rankings with any backing. That signing is going to give our D-Line a lot more impact.

Green Bay was over the cap by a fair margin. Did they resign a bunch of players? We know they let some go. They tagged Franks which will cost them somewhere.
The Texans resigned some key depth and forced our current LB's to make some decisions. Not to mention we still have cap space and we did not have to use the franchise or transition tag.

So if the Dallas Cowboys are ranked # 1 in this offseason grade thus far. Doesnt that mean that since the Packers are ranked # 1 in our section... that THEY are the WORST?? I think so...unless his rankings are inconsistent.

The bottom line is, this off season is far from over. Anyone can move from the bottom tier to the top at any time. This isnt the regular season. NO need to worry yet.

Homeboy needs to put down the crack pipe. Exspecially the whole Cowboy man love thing, cause they really didn't have that great of a start to free agency. The gave Henry almost eh same money that was given to Winfeild last year; and we all know who isthe better of those two. They also gave Riveria a contract nearly teh same as the one Wahe got in Carolina, which wouldn't be that bad except Riveria is 5 years older, a couple of knee surgeries and just not as good as Wahle.

Ok now that that's off my chest....all anlysts are pretty stupid.

It's Fox.... nothing else needed to add...... >_>

It's just a guy's opinions. Sure, 97% of the general population can do a better job, but they have better things to do than look like a doofus, like what Czarnecki has just done.

yeah they guy is a quack and it dont seem like he knows what he's talking about to me ! :hmmm: we'll all see who made the best decesions come the regular season !
