Lets not spend too long picking Carr and Capers apart this week eh?
Im still in the "replace capers at the end of the season" boat... and Im not sold on Carr.. but we made a good showing this week and progressed alot from the last two games.
the Positives:
1. We spread the ball around alot more
2. Capers actually got worked up a couple times
3. Pendry's offense seems much more professional
4. We made good adjustments at the half.
The Negatives:
1. We still didnt get the ball to Johnson enough.
2. Carr still got sacked too much.
3. The Officials hate us.
my thoughts.
We looked alot better.. but how long will it last? Can Pendry continue to adjust once the opposing team knows how he runs the offense?
Carr looked better out there despite the sacks.. he was accurate.. he got the ball to different receivers... but he still didnt look like a 4th year QB. I didnt expect him to though.. this team is still recovering from week 1 and 2.
Ill give them the benefit of the doubt for now. We looked better..so we may continue to improve and look ALOT better next week. We will see. For now.. im still not sold on Capers or Carr though... but im not gonna waste a week repeating old arguements.
There will be plenty of time to call out Capers and Carr and demand changes in a few weeks when we have a better idea of where this team is going.
