i know his name hasn't been mentioned at all this offseason...but do any of ya'll see him trying out for a team this season and possibly making it...i still think the man has a lot of potential that wasn't reached due to a horrible line situation along with a defense that continues to suck

Couch should stay home with his wife. She is hot and former PMOY Heaher Kozar. Looks like Marilyn Monroe. Screw Football. Heshould have enogh money for lifetime.

Hopefully his not being with the Browns anymore is a blessing in disguise. What few games of his I've seen, I know this guy can play.

yeah i really think he can really make an impact for a team if they have a strong line to protect him...he just needs to get healthy again

He tried out with the Packers. Sucked it up, and now hes back on the streets. This guy is done.

He'll show up next year either in the NFLe or the AFL. If Akli Smith can hang on as long as he has, so can Couch.

Couch would have been on a team last year if he hadn't gotten injured. He will be back in the league soon.

Tim would still be the QB of the browns if butch davis wasn't his coach.

That man never drafted O-linemen, resented Timmy since day one (and any other player he didn't draft) and essentially ran him out of town.

Tim Couch will be back in the NFL. His poor performance with the Packers was largely due to problem with his elbow. A healthy Tim Couch is one of the better QB's in the league.

He will probably end up with the broncos like the rest of the browns these days.

Or the raiders perhaps as he is another QB that can chunk the football deep.

True he was injured during his stint at Green Bay, but Couch has never been particularly good in the NFL...He only played through a full season once, has 64 career TDs and 67 career INTs, and his career long for yards in a season is 3040...He may end up being a good back-up for someone, but to call him "one of the better QBs in the league" is a complete overstatement...

I think it would be fair to say the his ride in Cleveland was rocky at best. Butch Davis made a complete joke out of that situation. I don't think Couch was given enough chance with enough tools around him to really find out what the guy can do. I think now we'll never find out what kind of potential this guy has. It's my opinion that in the right situation, healthy, he could be a very productive QB.

his time at cleveland was a joke...they never got an offensive line in front of him to block for more than 2 seconds...and their receiver problems continue...they have had some of the worst draft picks ever

Not putting down David at all, but what if Tim Couch was our QB and was healthy.

he'd be second string and trade bait like none other once we were able to get him a few reps in the preseason

Couch did take the browns to the playoffs the year everything with the o-line went right. And I'll never forget that about him. Butch Davis may have ruined his career because he didn't like him
