Furry Tractors
Carr and AJ get their credit for the win, but there's some guys that deserve something. Starting with Eric Moulds. DBs know about AJ, they know about his skills, but they can't focus on him because that'll leave Moulds wide open. He may not have stats, but he's been one of our best players so far.

Glenn Earl's play is overlooked thanks to CC Brown's horrible play. I'm not just bragging about adopting him...he can hit.

How about Payne? Troy Evans? Kyle Shannahan?

How about Travis Johnson. I think he has made strides these past few games and he freed some people up today for sacks.

I give props to Edell Shepherd for some nice moves today. Maybe not the biggest plays, but they were fun to watch and bode well for the future.

Ahem...still can't wait for Mathis to get back, though! In Texans math, 13>19.

Like it or not, we win as a team and lose as a team. Good team effort today.

...finally, a fan that gets it!! Football is a team sport. Carr gets his own 'win' thread?...maybe I'm wrong, but I don't ever remember a 'Carr loses' thread!!??

well we could resurrect one of the "Carr is outplayed by (enter name here)" threads but let's not, shall we?

...don't recall a thread titled like that but it would be more of a 'true' thread that has actually happened, instead of a thread inferring that Carr won a game by himself...

I read that thread and posted in it. I only saw 1, maybe 2 posts that even remotely implied that Carr won the game by himself. Considering the number of weekly repetitive anti-Carr threads on this MB, I don't have a problem with a thread recognizing a good game on his part. And I don't have a problem with a thread like this, designed to recognize good individual performances today.

I think the title of that "Carr's Win" thread, not its content, fits what you're saying, tsip, and if every post in it said something like "DC did it all by himself," I'd agree with you--but they don't. Carr supporters have the urge to crow, given the win, so I say let 'em crow.

:twocents:

Edell Shepherd did well
Buchanon seems to have trouble making quick cuts right now. Edell looked great on the his offensive run play, juked several guys. I didn't see how he ended up with the ball so I thought he was a RB then realized he was moving way to fast to be any of our backs. Give him the ball more, that was some great running.
