The Texans are so bad...................................

Ryan

THIS YEAR
that they will now start winning games and find a way to mess up their first overall pick. IMO, the only way we lost the game yesterday is Dom Capers. You go out there to play 4 quarters of football, not 2. I am surprised no noe has gotten fired yet.

Capers is incapable of making half-time adjustments....at least good ones, anyway. We've seen that for 4 years.

Getting a higher draft pick is the only thing that helps to make watching these games every week tolerable. Of course now they will win and move down the draft.

Ya as bad as this sounds, i think all the hardcore fans starting thinking about that comeback around half time and cheered the Bruce touchdown.

The reality is this team has lost all confidence with the coaching staff. They are not stupid, they know that going 1-10 gets a 4th year coach with no winning seasons fired. Thus they know that all schemes, everything changes. The offense will probably start clicking more cause they are playing for their jobs as shown with the rams. But the defense i think will crumble because they dont even know if the 3-4 will be kept or scrapped. And on the offensive side of the ball we are just dinking it around cause our offensive line is fatally wounded and couldn't block my mom.(she aint big either)

Carr will be back because any new coach is going to wanna see what they have. And either McNair or Casserly if he survives the mass extiction will lobby for him. (although Casserly might offer up Carr to save his skin)

We most likely will have an open competion. I think we learned from the Rivers mistake (yes its a mistake imagine who they could have had instead) to not take Linart. So draft takes us to Furgeson or Bush. My mind says get D'Brickshaw as there will be no premier tackles on the free agent market and its such a need. Ricky Williams, Shaun Alexander and other big time backs will be available and we still have Davis. My Heart says go with Bush, just thinking about him electrfying the offense. Imagine we bring in Martz as the new offensive coordinator and basically a young marshall Faulk (minus the size) but with DD to spell Bush (since they would both be under decent contracts for a few years) could work.

I dont really think that DD and Bush could co-exist, having a total of around $10M invested in one position is not really smart managemnet of the cap. The new regime SHOULD see the fatal flaw of the previous one and start building in the trenches, if not we could have a simmillar problem 4 years later (a playmaker with no good way of getting him the ball....sound familliar)

DRAFT FERGUSON!!!!!!!
