The Passing of My Dad

Texan_Bill

Hall of Fame
Recently Joe Texan's father passed away. It was with a heavy heart that Joe cheered on our Texans Monday night. I would like to express my thoughts and prayers to the Joe Texan Family..

Joe, if you need anything - simply let me know.

Our condolences. Hang in there. The Texans will get you a win on Sunday against the Colts. It's destiny.

My condolences Joe. I lost my Mom this year so I know what you are going thru. God is taking care of your Dad and you'll see him again some day. Hang in there and know that God heals all wounds.

My condolences Joe. When I lost my Father the void is amazingly profound. I was just walking around staring at walls.

"In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on."
Robert Frost

Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

It was and still is tough on me at times when after losing my dad just over a year ago, but trust in God and He will grant you comfort. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family.

I'm sorry about your loss; your father is in my prayers :(

For certain is death for the born
And certain is birth for the dead;
Therefore over the inevitable
Thou shouldst not grieve.

My condolences, this must be very hard for you. We are here if you need us and understand if you need time away.

I know alot of you knew my dad from the football games and I hope yall get the info. My Dad had more friends than I could ever know about but I know he loved the Texans and loved coming to Reliant to Party with all of us.

You can also google Mike Banowsky and get more links

I never met your dad but I've met you and that's good enough for me. You're a good man so your dad must have been an even greater one. Rest in peace, friend.

Joe,

While you mourn your loss, remember there will be others on "the other side" who will be excited to see him again. As I know that he will be in a good place, I will turn my prayers to you for maintaining the strength to continue life with your usual fun-loving vigor.

My love and prayers are sent to you and your family Joe! I have sooooo missed your Dad this year at the tailgate. Always a smile for everyone, and I truly miss him.

Joe knows he has the thoughts and prayers of my family let us know if you want/need anything Joe. I wish you all the best.

Joe, as I posted in the tailgating section, I TRULY miss your Dad and his sweet smile. He is now smiling down on all of us and our Texans! This is Thanksgiving day, and as much as I know you miss your Dad on this day, be thankful for the legacy he left you. YOU are truly blessed to have had such a wonderful man to call DAD!!

Joe, while your dad isn't literally with you this year he is still in your heart. My grandfather always cooked Thanksgiving (german style) and I took it up when he passed. Keep what you had with him in your heart and give thanks for that on this day. He will always be with you.

This sums it up beautifully. Joe, I have only met you once, since then, every time I see you on TV or the scoreboard, I smile.

Your Dad will, too.
