If he is a starter, we’re in trouble. Depth piece and perhaps a rotational guy if he gets good coaching. An ok pick at this spot but no cartwheels being turned.

At this point, swing for potential as there aren’t clear starters left. I’d favor Justyn Ross. A few years ago he looked a top few rounds pick before his surgery. Why not see if he can remotely return to that value at this point?

Yeh, that had me confused at first.

He's another prospect interviewed with the Texans.
I like that we're drafting guys with whom we actually had some interactions. For years, we'd draft someone and they'd be totally surprised because the Texans hadn't had any extra interviews with them or shown any interest at all. I think that's trying to hard to hide who you want.

It was a sign of bad preparation. That's how you pick a Keith Mumphrey when you had other obvious needs.

The Texans don't have a true starting NFL inline TE. The penalty machine is a back-up Free agent. The draft pick from last year is a pass catching move TE (giant WR if anything)
Are you suggesting this guy is an inline TE?
He looks like go could block…..

Not feeling this one, guys.

Absolutely craziest draft I've ever seen .... been following them religiously since 1982/Munchak .... is Nick being purposely deceptive ?

I’d like to see the Texans and Caserio’s last pick of the draft to be…..DE- Isaiah Thomas (Oklahoma). He’s 6-5 @ 266 lbs and popped a respectable 4.7-40. He’s a true 4-3 DE with good length and bend…..but needs some development time to become a full-time DE. I could get behind this investment.

I think the Texans could still get some pretty decent talent through the UDFA frenzy.
