depends on his impact? did he shutdown his side, did he force a fumble, make a touchdown saving tackle, sack the QB or return a pick for six. I just want to see effort from all players with a common goal who support & play together like a winning team should.

Exactly.. look at Stokley, he backed out after the fact in Washington... Hoping the Texans do not say anything until his name is signed on that contract...or the press for that matter...

You think texans casn make it to SB without Aso making an impact? If so, maybe we don't need him after all.
 
If we get Aso and a solid veteran safety, I would be highly disappointed if our defense doesn't finish in the top half of the league. From worst to first, lets do it!!

The Texans are by and large very tight-lipped about things like this before they're official but the prospect of this big a signing might cause them to break that policy. I agree with you, I hope they keep it zipped until it's a done deal, if in fact they're really in the mix on this like we're being told.

Agreed. But on the other hand I think it could help land some other free agents like Manning/Landry at safety.

I get those all the time where the Texans are concerned. I'd actually be more worried if I didn't have one of those at a time like this.

After all, they're so regular that the law of averages says that sooner or later that sinking feeling is going to be wrong.
 
Even though the Texans wouldn't say a word until tomorrow evening, it's a sure bet his agent will leak it and the basic terms to make themselves look good.

I would think they would want to O to come out, being AJ, Matt, and Arian would be a little more deserving..BUT, if it goes the other way, I wouldn't have a problem with it, plus why have Indy's O come out and have to hear Peyton's name called...
