The "I gotta feelin'" game

Alright, obviously it's relatively easy to predict who a team is going to pick in the first round. Barring any major surprises, one usually expects a team to choose one of a select few players (i.e. most people agree the Texans will either choose Matthews, Thomas, or Wilson). It's harder once we get past round one, however. So let's make predictions on any players you have a feeling, for whatever, will go to a particular team.

My gut tells me the niners will pick up Eric Norwood and Myron Rolle somewhere in the middle rounds....I feel like their style of play and attitude fits exactly what Mike Singletary is looking for.

I got a feeling that in 5 years people will laugh that McCoy was considered to be as good as Suh. And to the OP's sig, Ya'll have Crabs and VD!

When I said "easy", I meant that in very relative terms, compared to predicting the other rounds. In other words, even though you may not exactly know who a team will take in the first round, you usually can whittle it down to a few players. On the other hand, in the later rounds it becomes much more of a mystery, and the choice could be any number of players.

I gotta feeling that the Chiefs will have a great draft on paper. With the 5th pick in each round, two in the 2nd, and those three picks at the top of the 5th round will hold some great value (low risk, high reward) - why they would not take Berry, with so many picks and value on the back end, would be stubborn in my opinion.

After all the LT's got picked early, I was on the old ht.com boards and said "what about a trade down to get someone like Duane Brown?" and five minutes later they drafted him....no way I would have guessed that when the draft started though.

I have a feeling that Jordan Shipley ends up in Tennessee.

im thinking Tebow goes in the 2nd to a team with a good vet QB, and a coach who wants to coach someone up; the kinda coach who likes to build a player from the ground up and make him a star. the Patriots makes a lot of sense; they did it with Cassel.

there's something to be said for having that young, interesting QB prospect who's sitting on the bench behind a perennial starter. think: Matt Schaub. they get a few good looks in preseason, maybe they come in late in a regular season game and make a name for themselves...who knows, the trade value is immense. the Saints at #32, another option.

I think the Texans will throw some weird curveball out there. Like maybe trading back and getting Witherspoon in the first. I think their focus on defense will be the Linebackers. Then look for CB in the 2nd, RB in the 3rd, with a DT for the other 3rd we trade back for.
