The few positives from the game

MorKnolle

All Pro
I thought Dunta Robinson played an excellent game. I wonder why it is that our second smallest guy on the team plays like the biggest man all the time. He consistently made plays when they tried to throw at him and had a couple nice tackles as well. I can't honestly remember a single completed pass that has been thrown at him this entire year when he's been in man-to-man coverage.

Robaire Smith played a good game. I thought he played very well, especially considering his elbow problem that basically meant he was playing with one arm. He got a few really good pushes into the backfield and made some other plays too, it would have been nice if he had made the INT but he's a DE and it was thrown at his bad arm.

Domanick Davis had a productive day and the OL actually blocked well on running plays, it looked like the zone blocking was finally doing a decent job.

While he didn't have an outstanding day, I would still like to commend Chad Stanley for playing after spending the last three days in the hospital with a kidney stone.

We got some pressure on McNair. Although we never sacked him, we did get guys in his face an many occassions and hit him numerous times, he was just a smart, veteran QB and dumped the ball off before taking a sack.

The cheerleaders are pretty freaking hot.

Well, that's about all the positive things I noticed. Anyone else have any POSITIVE moments from the game?

Capers kept his mouth shut for the most part, that an improvement. Maybe National TV will bring out the best in us i hope.

One positive is that Carr is able to keep getting up after every sack. Oh and another positive is that I didn't spill my beer today.

DD, Mathis, Dunta, Robair and to a somewhat lesser extent CC Brown, Coleman and David all played well. These guys played the others well.......they showed up and got good seats for a crappy football game.

Bradford finally held on to a ball when it counted. That's a positive. It would have been more positive it he had held on to the pass that hit him in both hands in the endzone inthe first half.

They got Jerome Mathis more involved but I didn't get to see much of the game and can't comment on his performance. Any views about his play?

it was decent. had a couple good returns but also a couple where he lost yards. had a catch and dropped a low ball that would have been a tough catch. he got open on a deep route but was overthrown.

for a guy with his speed.. I would expect him to get past to 20 yard line more often on kick returns. Moses was rarely tackled behind the 20 when he was our returner.

It looks like our special teams is failing as badly as our offense and defense.. we had terrible field position against the titans.

Mathis is still adjusting to the pro game and really hasn't done a whole lot of returning yet. The potential is there to be an outstanding returner, so I'm not worried about him.

Look at the positives .. ok Ill look at the positives
1. Carr didnt die
2. Riley didnt break a nail attempting to passblock
3. Capers didnt have that stupid *** blank stare on his face
4. Buchanon actually made a damn tackle
5. Davis actually had the longest play from scrimmage this year (44 yard run )
6. Wade didnt break an ankle getting crossed over and passed by so easily
7. Johnson suppost to being a team leader not wanting to play because of a hurt calf.
8.Bradford actaully caught a pass ( wow big shocker here )
9.Our kickers are the best athletes on our team.
10. The titans didnt score 70 points on us.

One of our best recievers, Armstrong, still isn't seeing any playing time!!! Why is he being neglected? He produces when he plays!

The one thing that Ive noticed thats positive for our team is that Buchanon actually stepped up and became a man. I didnt watch the 2nd 1/2 of the game but in the 1st 1/2 i saw him go up and make some hits. I like what I have seen from him the last 2 weeks. He's still not anywhere as good as DROB, but he is progressing well IMO. :tomato:
