That was a pretty funny title for the guy who made that post. Anyway I have not posted in a while but I wanted to throw my two cents in on the Vince Young vs. Reggie Bush debate. After the San Fransisco game I was like a lot of you, pumped about getting Reggie Bush. Talked to a friend of mine since the beginning of the season about how if the Texans were going to have a bad year this would be the one to do it because of the draft class, and how whoever got Reggie Bush may have the next Barry Sanders on their team. Then came tha game that changed everything for a lot of Texans fans. The thing is that Vince did not do anything in the USC game that he has not been doing since highschool. I can remember the playoff game with Northshore vs. Madison in the dome where the final score was 61-58 Madison and Vince had a part of every score. The guy has been amazing since he first put on cleats. Another thing is I really get annoyed to see how many people post about how he has terrible throwing mechanics. WHO CARES!!! I don't care if he head butts the football to a reciever as long as it gets there complete. Compare it to any other sport. Jim Furyk has one of the ugliest golf swings ever but he has won 9 times and has a major, Ichiro has a terrible baseball swing but he has preformed incredibly for Seatle with all time single season hits. The list could go on and on with sports players and less than perfect ways of getting things done but who cares as long as they get it done. Vince finished the regular season with a QB rating of 168.6 which was the #1 in college football. #1, I mean how much better can he get. Another stat is that he was 30-2 at Texas. He knows how to win games which is the most important thing. I really like both these players and the bottom line is we are either going to get a Ladianian Tomlitson or the offspring of Michael Vick and Brett Favre. What I do not understand is all of these posts about trading our #1 pick to get good picks next year and a take a good player this year. This is the best draft class in a long time and with the number one pick we need to take full advantage of it. Just my two cents, now I invite the sharks to tear it up.
