That was Embarassing

Enough said, just embarrasing.

I'll cheer and never turn my back on this team, but Wow, that was embarrasing.

6-10 here we come!

gr8slayer,

I wouldn't climb too high on your pedestal. Just four FG's and a TD during the first half. It should have been 40 to 0 the way we played.

Hey, a win is a win.

You do have to give a little credit to our D, they did they best they could with what they had to work with.

It is the humble opinion of this Inaugural Season Ticket Holder that a move in the OC position should have been made after year 3. While a move at the HC postion may also need to happen, I believe that it is imperitive that a move with Palmer be made first. I wouldn't even be opposed to a move in the OC position during the season.

Overall, like so many of the last three years, the offense was inconsistent while the defense is left out ther to rot. Oh yeah, why, with 11 minutes to do you not go for it on 4th and inches??? If it keeps up like this, it will be a looooooooong season.

I told the guys at work before that game started. It's one thing to lose a game, but I hoped we wouldn't be totally embarassed.

I remember several months ago how people were declaring this would be a playoff team this year and I said 8-8 would be acceptable. Many people on this board ridiculed me and claimed this would be at least a winning year, if not playoffs. Well, the playoffs was NEVER realistic for this team. After all, you only get six AFC teams in the playoffs anyway. Four of those will be divisional champs -- leaving only two spots left. Since Indy will win our division, that means the Texans would have to beat out six of these seven teams to get in: NY Jets, two AFC West teams (the two losers of the Denver, Oakland and KC battle), Buffalo, Cincinnati, Jacksonville and Baltimore. And now Buffalo already has a leg up on them. The Texans aren't going anywhere and those who predicted a winning season with their schedule will be very, VERY disappointed. The Texans are a mediocre team that every once in a while will jump up and surprise somebody. But they certainly aren't consistent enough to make the playoffs.
