Are you ready for some football, Texan fans?

I am a moderator on the buffalobills.com message board and wanted to drop by and thank you for showing why you are some of the classiest fans in the NFL. This week Texan fans have once again showed why they are a step above all other 'trolls'.

I have YET to delete, edit or hit the ban button once, as has been the case whenever our teams have met. Your fans that have been on our board have been polite, knowledgeable and very enjoyable to 'talk'' football with.......

Here's hoping for a great game and both teams coming off the field without a serious injury. IMO your team may be very underrated, and this should be a great year for David Carr. Andre Johnson is amaZing, and Domanick Davis is a dual threat that should have another spectacular year.

That said, although we have an untested high strung stallion for a QB... I do BILLieve your Texans will find the BILLS defense and Special Teams very formidable opponents. Their ranking as the #2 D and #1 ST in the NFL last season was no fluke.

Good for you warm weather folks that the game is at The Ralph in September and not December!

Anyway, I apologiZe if any rude, classless BILLS fans have shown up here this week. The majority of BILLS fans are not that way. Though I left Western New York over 20 years ago, my passion for the BILLS has never waned.

Good luck the rest of the way, but I do hope the BILLS get your season off to an 0-1 start.

I went to the Bills board yesterday hoping for a good laugh (I figured there would be some bad mouthing the Texans) but only walked away with the respect for the members of that board. I didn't run across anyone bad mouthing the Texans, in fact, they were praising our team and our fans as being a classy organization.

I've always like the Bills, you guys are going to great this year, and I wish you all much success...just not to much today lol.

Thanks for stopping by on our message board. For the most part, BILLS fans ARE a step above... but like any team's fans, we have our classless jerks who try to make all of us look bad.

I've got nothing but respect for your up and coming team, and wish you all the best, starting NEXT week :)

Wouldn't it shock the world if our teams met AGAIN in the AFC Championship game???

Please tell me that Texan fans are as tired of the Patriots as we are!!! I respect the heck out of the Patriot organiZation, but it's time for some new blood to represent the AFC and win the Super Bowl!!!

Seriously you guys have been great and I just hope other team's fans learn from you guys when it comes to how to act on a message board.

I wish you all the best for the season starting right around 4:30EST (unless the game goes into overtime)

Another Buffalo fan. If any "Bills Fan" starts trouble, FYI, hes not a true Buffalo Fan. I am scared crapless that we have to face you guys (I was at the game Carr got injured and Banks screwed us). Good luck and thanks for not starting trouble on our boards
 
I can count on one hand the number of people posting as "Bills fans" who have needed to be checked this week. That's almost unprecedented I think. Like I said in another thread I could talk about football with you guys for the rest of the season.
 
Yup, have to agree. With just a couple of exceptions (which will happen for Texans' fans too) y'all have been great.
 
its probably because our teams havent faced each other many times. I bet if we were in the same division, you may be lucky enough to be hated as much as we hate the Dolphins! Good luck to your team, and hopefully you guys are injury free

I don't think so. We haven't faced anyone very many times outside of our division opponents and yet when Pats fan comes in here I cringe. We've played them exactly one time. I think you guys are just good fans.

Most Pats fans are bandwagoners anyway and don't know their ***** from a hole in the wall.
 
Could I please ask two favors for the Mods here?

1. The guy with the Jaysonguy name is just trying to screw with you guys and if he gets banned can I have that name? That's my name over on the Bills board.

2. If I can't have my name could you at least please make the J at the start of my name a capital J?
