It appears as though the mystique is gone from the OU program and Stoops also.

You would think they would have changed QB's after the first half their QB had.

esay to say that they should have benched bomar but they really don't have anyone better. thompson is even worse at throwing but just a little faster. they gave rhett the ball and will let him learn on the job. i love the lets get the whole ut line, but the funny thing is, they would play just as bad as our line would. good win for texas, nationally not a big deal but is for the ut faithful. nice win, good luck in pasadena.

Pretty darn good prediction.

I have to say, the Longhorns have had a huge shift from mid-season last year. It's all mental. Mack Brown says it's because the team is better, but I think it's because they've stopped playing not to lose. Thanks to the coaches for finally loosening those reigns.

Today was a GREAT day!
 
Good observation and I agree.

I felt watching the game that this UT squad would not panic and would not make stupid mistakes that cost them as in years past.

Kind of fun being the team doing the stomping instead of the other way around.

If they don't have anybody better it's going to be a loooonnnnngggg year for Sooner fans.
 
USC did not look as good as they should have against a bad Arizona team, and Texas looked great against Oklahoma. Texas might be getting a few more first place votes in this weeks rankings I would imagne!
 
Perhaps but those same voters could also say that UT whooped up on a bad OU team.

I don't think USC slides. They came back and won comfortably. They're good even on cruise control.
 
We play 1-loss Colorado this week and an undefeated Tech team the week after that. I was concerned about our trip to A&M before the season, but it should be a relatively easy win now. Once we get past Tech, we should be undefeated going into the Big 12 Championship Game.

I just hope that Virginia Tech and Florida State don't go defeated all the way to the ACC Championship Game. I'd hate to have one of them jump over us and turn us into the Auburn of this year. DOWN WITH THE BCS!!!
