I went zero for every fantasy sport/pick 'em game this week. I think I will switch to the dart board method.

Ditto on the Chargers. :(

I should have had the same fate with Chicago but the "wisdom" of the NFL rulebook saved me. My stratagy of saving the best for later almost bit me.

Strike two. The Cincinnati Bengals lost today giving me my second strike. I'm having a terrible time picking football games this year. :(

I had three strikes last week...... picking the F'kn Colts to beat the Jags.

A sure thing right????

Yeah, I need to learn from your mistakes. Picking Carolina, San Francisco & Seattle to win. Every week I need to pick against Buffalo. A winning strategy. :kingkong:

I almost actually went with Jacksonville over Buffalo this week... that was one of the few games I got right in the pick-em...

Silly me.

Being a survivor league, I had it set in my mind I shouldn't pick a team I know is going to the play-offs.... other wise I wouldn't be able to play when the play-offs came around.

Yeah, I've thought the same thing, which led me to pick Cincinnati instead of either Atlanta, Chicago or Baltimore this week. Three teams who have a better chance to make the playoffs.

I was reading the rules to this since I was going to pick Cleveland over Carolina instead of Pit over Buffalo because I wanted Pittsburgh for the playoffs. Instead I came across this:

To make this simple sounding game more of a challenge, you can only select each professional football team once during the regular season while an Active member of an individual group. Team restrictions will be reset at the beginning the playoffs (in groups that pick through the playoffs), and you will again be able to pick each team once.

Sorry that I ran across this too late for some of you.

WTF??? For some reason it did not record my pick of SF last week. Now I have been eliminated for no pick?

My plan of saving Pittsburgh for last week paid off as everyone else lost.

There are now five survivors left, all with two strikes going into week 17.

Well, we started with 36 people, and after 17 weeks of picks, four remain contenders. All four teams have 2 strikes against them. I'm not actually sure how the playoff matches work for you guys, as I have never made it that far in this type of league, but good luck to you all!

The picks reset. We can now pick any team we want for this week. I'm assuming the playoffs are the same as the regular season where you can't pick a team more than once.

Nah we all picked the Saints , Thanks for ending our season Saints!
:vincepalm:

If they had picked New Orleans, it would show "NOR" in red, but it doesn't. It shows N/A in red, which means none of you submitted your picks correctly.

From the looks of it, nobody locked in a pick. They all say N/A in red. People must have forgot.

Yeah, if you click on "Group picks" it shows it as "N/A", but if you click on the individual you'll see that we all picked New Orleans.

I as HoustonTexans4Life picked NOR, but after they lost, they told me I won the championship. So I guess it was a 4-way tie.....congrats to you guys.

And now only 4 with 1 strike against them (including me). 2slik4u, your reign of being perfect is over. :)

Just checked this morning....let me correct myself....we have 5 with one strike. :)

Lots of people eliminated thanks to the Eagles playing like crap this week. Two people have Green Bay over Minny tonight, so unless there is a massive upset by the Vikings, we should have 12 people left, 5 of which have 1 strike.

I'm hanging on...with one strike left. I have GB picked tonight. They better not lose. Philly killed a bunch of players.

The teams I can choose from are getting very slim. Seems like after this week, the only choices I have left are teams with losing records.

Still hanging on by a thread....

That's just how it goes. There are still 10 people left in total. 2 with 1 strike each, and 8 with 2 strikes. I imagine the pool will go into the playoffs again.

I'm still ticked that I got taken out by the Ravens losing to the Titans and the Giants losing to the Seahawks. :wadepalm:

Thanks alot flaming meatballs for losing to the winless Colts. The one time I rooted for you (out of necessity) you caused me to fall out of the competition.
