Ok guys the flag football event is growing legs and getting some love. The morning show today mention it on air, so lets not let this event fall off. Heres the plans as far:
Sunday May 25th everyone intrested meet at the BUS for the live Gametime show. After the show we watch(or go to) the Astros game. After the game we walk/carpool to Discovery Glen (the new park in front of the GRB) and we play some ball.
This is a listener/posters/chatters/family and friends thing. EVERYONE is invited and encouraged to play. The more people you bring the better the event will be. This can be just a couple of guys watching the stros and throwing the pigskin around or it can be a HUGE event were we need multible teams and games.
Ok heres the deal..this is a listener motovated thing so im guessing we(the listners) will have to provide some of the basics.
Im bringing at least two footballs, a cooler or two of water/beer and cones...other stuff we need is/are: flags(FLAG fooball), more footballs and players. If you can think of anything else let me know. If you can help out and bring theses or have access to them and willing to let us borrow them let me know.
Also, all the staff at 1560 is invited to play to. I know Nuno wanted to play and im pretty sure some of the guys would wanna throw down to. I want to give the 1560 staff a rough number people attending by wednesday or thursday so please email/PM me if you(plus guests) plan to attend.
