Hall of Fame
1. OLB Robert Quinn. Our premier OLB. He lines up opposite Barwin on day one. This assumes that Fairley, Bowers, AJ Green, Peterson, Miller, and Dareus are all gone.
2. S DeAndre McDaniel. Ideal strong safety. Covers and plays the run well. Won't wow you with his athleticism but will make plays all over the field.
3. ILB Nate Irving. A bit undersized, but has a nose for the ball and is an aggressive playmaker in both run support and pass coverage. Had 40 tackles for loss, 9 sacks, and 4 interceptions in three years at NC State. He had a monster year last year with 21.5 tackles for loss and 7 sacks.
4. OLB Jeremy Beal. With 58.5 tackles for loss and 29 sacks in his four years at Oklahoma, he has the production you look for in a 3-4 OLB, but he lacks speed and overall athleticism. We will see how he does at the combine. I still think he is a good football player.
5. DE Mike Blanc. Not much of a pass rusher, but can be disruptive and give us some depth along our defensive line.
6. DT/DE Anthony Gray. Low to the ground and active. Could provide depth along the defensive line with Blanc.
7. OLB Markus White. Played DE at Florida State. Athletic football player that projects best at OLB. He has good pass rush ability. He had 28.5 tackles for loss and 11 sacks in his three years at Florida State.
