Good ol boy system at its finest lol. Kubiak should have had Wood activated to begin with. It's ok Ravens will sign all these guys to their team...
 
Thought it was extremely curious that the Texans were going with only 2 RB on Sunday, especially considering both Tate and Foster had injury concerns going into the game.

And, hate to speculate, but given that both Montgomery and Jefferson are involved, and given their predraft issues, you'd have to think drugs are involved.

I still can't figure out why he was let go to begin with. He was injured a bit, but was dang good the final PS game. I know 2s, 3s and 4s played but still. McClain's been a mess
 
i dont get this move.

we need all these guys including woods. There should be some latitude granted to these young athletes, i dont get the zero tolerance policy.

these guys are football players, not running for president or pope.

Seems to me like a dbag extreme move to cut all these guys who are all pretty talented.
 
Panic move,lost the team,trying to show he's still in charge. As said before,montegomery shouldn't. Have never been drafted.
 
Fits the Texans theme:

You can be completely useless on the field, by golly you can throw interceptions, miss field goals, run 10.3 yards out of the end zone on every kickoff, or look like a great hollywood replica of a turnstile at right tackle, and you can play for this team, cause it's on me.

But mister, if you act up in the team hotel, you can bet there's gonna be heck to pay.. heck I tell you!

Now we can rule out the possibility of activating Wood for game day.
The players were sent home Sunday morning.
Something happened during Saturday night...
 
Wood was supsended first two games in college 2012 and IIRC I found allegations on a MB that fans said marijuana use. He is married and has a child I think. I had mocked him for months as a 5th.
 
Well, that explains a lot.

Could have used Cierre Wood but they were all just special teamers.

I had higher hopes for Montgomery, though. Thought he might have been a draft steal.
 
Must have been real bad to have been sent home Sunday morning. If I were a betting man, it would be drugs/alcohol.
