I hope Mariota plays, I really liked the kid in college, its been a rough start, but I think he'll be a good one.

HOU wins, D comes out inspired and forces the rook into some mistakes.

Sort of how I see this one going. Houston looked awful on D last week, and just when you think teams are the best or the worst they come out and surprise you somehow. I think the Texans barely edge them by 3 or 6.

Boss broke even on the slots, I lost a little. I prefer blackjack but didn't want to drive any further than Delta. The trip was mostly just to get the boss out of the house. Can be a bear sometimes if she is cooped up too long.

Best part of the rainy day drive was the stop on the way home at Floyds in Beaumont. Grilled crab cakes, dirty rice and sweet ice tea. Great Cajun food there. And the boss is happy again.

I'm happy for all the "true fans" that the Texans won today, no sarcasm here.

As for myself, I didn't even bother to record it. My fanhood is in direct proportion to the effort put forth by the team. Never enjoyed pizzing into the wind. I can wait.
