Believe it or not , I re watched the Steelers game the other night. The Steelers covered the flats and out patterns like they had a microphone planted on Shanahan. I've never seen three four DE's have a day like the Steelers DEs had. Corners have to play the run better. DTs have to play the run better. I think they will do the same thing with Chris Johnson as the Steelers did with their RBs. Lock our LBs one on one with their Rbs. We haven't stopped it yet. And folks aren't going to stop running it until we do. There's no Hines Ward over there. But it seems every time we come up against a back up QB, he kills us. Matt not spotting them twenty one with short fields would help. Who is the line Judge this week any way ?

I agree 100% it seemed to me the Texans were not able to make stops on third down. Steelers were.

I'm just looking forward to seeing my first game of the season.

I'm surprised to hear the the Texans are struggling as based on last years finish I thought you were on the up & up. I very interested to see what both teams are about right now.
 
We have struggled for one game against Pittsburgh and the doomsdayers came out in droves.

The Texans are a better team than what we saw that first week and I think this game is closer than people are giving credit. :texflag:

I remember that my Dad took me to alot of Astros and Oilers games. That scoreboard was a freaking highlight of my childhood. Time with dad, talking to the players MLB NFL. Watching the scoreboard go off hearing milo say hooooooly toledo a big belter by the big bopper. awesome. I was disappointed when they took it out for more seating. Thanks Bud.... Then they left....up yours Bud.... and then he voted against SA having a team as he was leaving the state....screw you bud. CRUSH THE TACKS

have whole house generator so never w/o power, but Comcast pulled internet early on. that said, beating the titans will be sweet if we can get it done. a road win against a division opponent is a Texans rarity, but I hope we can pull it off today.

I am hoping we beat the Titans today. With that said I am also hoping that I win the lottery.

So heres to hope.

I think Chris Johnson and Cheeseburger are going to run all over us and Collins is going to pick our secondary apart. On that note, we still wont be able to run the ball and Schaub will continue to throw in triple coverage.

I hope the Titans don't put 40 on us, but again, heres to hope.

Well here's hoping they've been working with Duane on the twist. Just like Pittsburgh trapped two weeks ago, the titans run the twist with the DT and DE. Fischer will call for it and call it often. If they can block it, yes they have a chance. Now who they have to shadow the speedster I don't know. Anyone care to look up Brain Westbrook's numbers the last time we played Philly ? Anyone want to set a line ?

Well Hub Arkin (SP ?) of pro football weekly picked against us. That was the best news of the last two weeks.

I have no idea what to expect today. Been so mired in just getting through the crap real life has dealt lately that I haven't really had a chance to even think about the NFL.
