The Bengals have been our biatch for quite some time now. I think it might be their time.
Texans need this game more than the Bengals. So I'm going 24-17 Texans.

Much more difficult matchup than many expect as the Bengals have been without numerous starters that seem to be returning vs. Texans.
If the Texans get pressure on the QB, than they will win the game.
Dalton has not played well this year when under fire.
..Bengals trail series 3-5. Bengals won first three meetings then lost 5 in a row. here are a few highlights
11-3-2002....Bengals win 38-3. One of only two wins by Bengals that season. Highest single game passer rating in Jon Kitna's career (146.8) 22-27, 263 yds, 4 tds, 0 int.
11-9-2003....Bengals come from behind in 4th quarter to win 34-27. Rudi Johnson sets Bengal single game record with 43 rushing attempts.
10-26-2008....35-6 Bengal loss drops them to 0-8 and for the second worst start in franchise history.
10-18-2009....2-3 Texans come from behind in fourth quarter to upset 4-1 Bengals 28-17.
11-12-2011....Rookie QB T.J. Yates comes into the game with 20 career completions but completes 26 of 44 for 300 yds and 2 tds as Texans rally from 9 points down with just 5 minutes left. They win on td pass from Yates to former Bengal Kevin Walter with 6 seconds left. To this date those 26 completions are one quarter of Yates career regular season completions (104), and he only has one other game in his career where he has thrown for more than 188 yards.
1-7-2012....(playoff) Underdog Bengals on the road are battling the Texans to a 10-10 tie with less than a minute left in the first half when J.J. Watt tips a pass in the backfield, intercepts it, and returns it for a td. From that point Texans roll to a 31-10 victory. Rookie T. J. Yates only completes 11 passes, but rides an impressive performance by Arian Foster (182 yds, 2tds) to improve to 2-0 as a starter against the Bengals. Yates only has one career victory against the other 31 NFL teams.
1-5-2013....(playoff) Bengals again an underdog on the road almost pull out victory with a fourth quarter rally but stall on the Texans 35 yard line with less than 3 minutes left in 19-13 loss. Dalton struggles (14-30, 127 yds, 0 td, 1 int) while Schaub (29-38, 262 yds) and Arian Foster (174 yds, 1 td) shred the Bengals defense.
I think you gave Blue and Johnson TDs that aren't there.![]()
I forgot to put 0 in front of TD's for them.
Will edit.
TK is a good man. He cant read my mind. Of course I cant read my mind half of the time. So there is that.
QB A - 61.8% compl, 218 YPG, 11/9 TD/INT, 7.20 Y/A, 83.2 QBR
QB B - 61.7% compl, 218 YPG, 11/8 TD/INT, 7.72 Y/A, 87.1 QBR
QB A - Andy Dalton
QB B - Ryan Fitzpatrick
And what are the records over the past few years of those starting QB's ??
Either way stats don't always tell the whole story.
Dalton gives a team a shot and Fitz mans a roster spot.
So, what are the experts saying about this game?
There is no general consensus among experts on who will win. ESPN is giving an ever-so-narrow edge to the Bengals, with seven of its 13 experts picking Cincy. The CBS Sports panel is a little more decided, with six of eight picking the Bengals. But four of six at Fox Sports are going with the Texans.
Finally, the game i've been waiting for !!!
Honestly, I don't know what to expect and it's been that way from week to week with my Bengals. Which Dalton shows up ?? 2.0 passer rating or the 3 TD, no pick Dalton ?? I really think it has to start up front, but I think that all the time.
If the Bengals can pass protect well enough and give Dalton time, I like our chances in this one. The concern for me (as with every team) is JJ Watt. We still don't know if our starting RT (Smith) will be playing and Marshall Newhouse has had some real problems filling in for him.
The Bengals running game is very solid and they have a bunch of RB's with Jeremy Hill really coming on strong lately. I don't think Bernard makes it back for this game, but they have other options that have done well.
AJ Green is finally healthy and last week he was simply HUGE in that game. Sanu is able to take some of the pressure off of Green and Gresham (while unspectacular) can have a large impact if he decides he's interested.
The defense still has some concerns with the linebackers with Burfict being out, but we got Maualuga back last week and he had a stellar game stopping the run. The biggest reason they have struggled against the run is because both Maualuga and Thompson missed many games. Both are back and Atkins and Peko are really fired up about it. They shut down the Saints rushing attack quite easily.
The secondary has also taken some injury hits lately, but is still a VERY solid unit. Thinking they are good for giving up 4 passing TD's in a game might be getting a little ahead of yourselves.
The Texans on the otherhand are a team that i've been talking about for a while with my 8 year old son being such a fan. Fitzpatrick was never and I mean EVER going to lead this team to a winning season. You simply don't have one of the worst seasons in the league, plug in Fitzpatrick and think things will improve.
I like that they got Mallett and I hope he does really well for them. He might not be the brightest bulb, but he sure has an arm and looked like he knew the offense well enough against the Browns. JJ Watt is, well, JJ Watt. I don't think I really need to go there. I just hope he doesn't kill Dalton.
While i'm rooting for and thinking the Bengals win the game (of course), this will be one game I won't mind seeing them take a loss if it happens. My son would go absolutely crazy seeing them beat the Bengals in his first game there at the stadium and wouldn't let me hear the end of it for a long time. There's something so amusing about hearing your 8 year old talking mess to you about football. It just does the heart good.
Can't wait to get down there and have a good time at the game !!!
Good luck and here's to no injuries !!!
Bengals- 27
Texans- 24
I chuckled when I saw the phrase, "Saints rushing attack."
FYI, as per CincyJungle.com:

Yea and all of them picked the Browns last week including the fans. Only a handful picked the Texans to win last week so it really means nothing.
I usually watch Playbook, and whomever Sharpe picks usually loses, but he picked the Texans last week and they won. I did not watch this week so does anyone know who he picked?
Sterling originally picked the Texans, but changed to the Bengals.... they didn't really breakdown a lot of what the Texans were doing in the Bengals@Texans segment.... but later on they did a quick little diddy on Ryan Mallett.
As far as not meaning anything, I disagree. These kind of things show me what expectations are. Texans historically have done well when little is expected of them. It's when they are expected to do well that they crap the bed. Before week 17 I predict expectations will change & I'm curious to see how the Texans react.
