According to the CBS guys, the Panthers were moving the recievers around to ensure that Smith was matched up with Petey until the defense made adjustments.
 
nice first half Texans, Panthers need to make some adjustments on D and send some pressure (unfortunately our idea of bringing heat is four guys).

That's Crap! Thats what we say once we screw up and leave Faggins out there to get schooled by Smith. It's about putitng the best players in position to win so you dont have to lay from behind under pressure. I am glad we showed character and have come from behind to take the lead but it should not have been necessary. This could easily be a 17-7 game.

well, if you think that a defense can't adjust to movement you haven't followed football too much. Special players tend to get covered by the best coverage guys...and putting someone in motion isn't going to desolve the coverage if your defensive coordinator is worth a crap.

As strange as it may sound , it does feel strange watching Schaub . Its like crappy QB play was drilled into my head for 5 years by Carr , that seeing someone like Schaub taking the snaps , it feels like I'm watching another team . Over the past years I have been watching other teams and saying "man I wish The Texans had that guy" , now we have him . :fans:
 
Man it's so sweet watching a real qb operate. I said that last week but we've never had a good play out the qb position so it's nice to see. Anyway, let's hope the Texans D will continue to put the hurt on Delhomme. Amobi and Mario are having good games but DeMeco has made some really nice plays as well. I don't understand why in the world Faggins was on Steve Smith. That was a huge mistake on our part.

well...you are right in the fact that Smith made good adjustments. It's just obscene that he even thought that Faggins should be isolated on Steve Smith...it's obvious to me that they practiced this all week and after the first two TD's they chunked his "master plan".

that being to nice, he is a P.O.S and should have been cut. the coaching staff in Carolina is very questionabe if you aren't familiar with them. Watching this one game you guys have already figured that our but the coaching staff has been watching this for 2+ years and can't draw that conclusion.

What is Frank Bush's responsibility? He was Kubiak's first choice as a DC when Bush was with the Cardinals, IIRC.
 
This is so beautiful......Yall dont understand how happy I am to be watching the Texans play like this.....especially here in N.O.
