Texans Training Camp Preview 2023

Apparently, CJ has hooked up with Nico on some good passes. We forgot Nico has speed as well as hands. He made a great snag in practice (DB covering him wasn't mentioned). And he used his speed to get behind the DB.

General summary of day 1 was the D looked like it was built to destroy. And on the other side of the ball, not a horrible day. However, not a good showing compared to the stinging and swarming D.

Really hoping Nico can stay healthy and reap the rewards of catching passes from a blue chip QB prospect. He has never been in an offense featuring a starting NFL caliber QB college or pro. The physical potential is there, but he’s gotta be available on game day to meet it.

I’d say, of the players on the roster, he has the most POTENTIAL to be a WR1. It would be great if he hits and we can scratch that need off the board next offseason.

I suspect Metchie may become the #1 receiver. Between them and Dell and Schultz, Collins can anticipate getting single matchups where is height can be an advantage over shorter DB's.

Hi all,

I'm now a contributor over at the Toro Times. Please take a look at my first posting over there. Comments are welcome. No tomatoes or eggs. And no wrapping my house in TP. Those are all forbidden!

Great article! I'm most worried about Green, but hopefully the new staff and some good health will help him turn the corner.

Thanks guys! If there's something that you'd like to see covered, let me know. You can always PM me or @mention me.

And for the record, I'm with buckeye. I am most worried about Green. I'm not only worried about health...but his general performance. Someone needs to light a fire under his rear end!

Good read and I like your writing style that should be beneficial to those who have less obsession with Texans than do those on TT.

No and as you corrected, was not the PUP. I think putting Green on field is only way they will know what they have. If he's not the guy, I would like to see how Jarrett Patterson can do.
My comment wasn't about what you or I would do. If Green was as out of shape and uninterested as 610 was saying, Ryans would have had him on a side field not wasting time in the main practices
