The good guys won. The Oilers got beaten by the other team’s backups just like the good ole days.

What went well:

1) Derek Barnett: Game ball to Barnett. The big man was everywhere today. Sack, defensive td, tfl. Not many teams have a reserve like Barnett on their roster. A talented player making the most of his opportunities.

2) Dameon Pierce: Another player you wonder why he didn’t get more opportunities in this offense. He has proven he can score from anywhere on the field on offense and special teams in his career. Treat him like Tank and look for ways to get him the ball!

What did not go well:

1) Defensive miscues: I chalk this one up to the inexperienced players out there today but it’s been a theme all season. No reason to allow the last td with the DB acting like he was fair catching a punt. Go up and get it.
 
I was unable to watch most of it so I can't say much... but the Titans being 0-2 against us in the ole Oilers look is quite amusing.

I wouldn't say that us beating the Titans cosplaying as the Oilers is "our Superbowl" but it is a trend I hope continues well into "it's tradition" status.
 
Good game today. Taking into account who we played. Key starters were rested. Our OL was: Tunsil, Kenyon G, Patterson, Scruggs, Fisher. All 5 started most of the game, so good playing time leading up to next Sunday's game. Mills got much needed playing time. Naturally all hope he's not needed.. Has signed a 1 year extension so will be back next year. New WR Johnson saw extensive playing time and may be a significant contributor next week. Pierce ran well behind the OL which may be the 5 starters next week. All in all, a good warm up for next week.
 
Deculus was a good pickup. He played well.
Pierce runs angry.
Mills is a good backup QB
The run D was soft about half the time.
That big play TD was just dumb. Go get the ball son!!
Hated the prevent D at the end. Go embarrass that trash ass team!
No injuries…
 
I didn’t get to watch the game. We were out getting our Grandson baptized today and taking the family out for dinner.

I got to see the highlight for DP’s TD run, it appears he took it to the house over the right side. Was Scruggs and Fisher responsible for the hole?

Funny how the Texans began taking more run plays to the right once Fisher was the RT.

This is the second time I’ve seen Stover deliver a nice block on a big run play.

I believe Stover will be much better next season.

Still no reason for TE to not be a draft priority.
 
Great to see the Nashville stadium packed with fans to celebrate their rich Oiler history. Tennessee fans were going on about how great Elvin Brazille, Billy "Blue Shoes" Johnson, Carl Munchack and other Oiler legends were and what they have meant to their City.

Pierce is a very good backup. I still think he has a future in the league. Most importantly is, as you said, no injuries
 
Only way the Titans are sold is if the buyer agrees to stay petty against Houston and never sell the Oilers rights.

Ultimately I really don't care. I do know its gotta be hard for an owner for the shadow of their product to be more valid and valuable than their current product.
