Texans starting defense?

What do yall project as the Texans starting defense? ive got this

CB- D-rob
CB- P-buc
Nickle- Faggins
FS- Coleman
SS- Earl
OLB- Babin
OLB- Peek
ILB- Wong
ILB- Greenwood
DE- Smith
DE- Walker....hopefully TJ comin in later in the season
DT- Payne....maybe a lil TJ if seth gets injured

so what do yall think? i feel thats a pretty good defensive unit... any other thoughts?
 
Even though the obvious has been pointed out here; the point is that the Defense just got younger. It sacraficed experience, but it has added talented youth. I like the new defense.

It's a shame that Sharper and Glenn are gone after they set the tone for the defense the first 3 years. But, in football, each play is like a train wreck, so as good as these guys take care of themselves, they aren't going to get any better after their 30's. The Defense last year was solid. But, where were the Sacks? A 3-4 defense must get sacks and apply the pressure on the QB. They had a magnificant run at the end not allowing a touchdown in a series of quarters in a row. But this defense must be an INTIMIDATING force to be considered championship contenders!!!!!!!

Let's keep our fingers crossed that this defense has the leadership ability to carry over from the one that was led by Sharper and Glenn.
 
the leadership is going to have to come from the dline, which is were most of the experience left is, along with coleman and wong. i think the speed that is in the linebacking core will give more sacks, but only if used correctly. if they continue to blitz just 1 or 2 linebackers every time like last year, they wont do much better, but if they blitz 3 or even all four sometimes, the speed in the lb core will kill teams. make them look a lil somthing like this ---> :ouch:

Only thing that will be different is that GW or Payne will be gone by midseason.
 
More exciting to me is the bench:

Sanders, Faggins, RWalker, Moreno, Cheatwood, CAnderson, TJohnson, Deloach...

That's a very good bench. Depth is something we haven't had until this season.

You are right, a 4th year team should obviously be stocked with Hall of Famers by now. Who's running this joint?
