Even as a less than average QB, that Oline, those receivers, the scheme, etc. would definitely make him better.

Then the Texans will ask to get him back for 10 first round draft choices and 15 second rounders.

These games are typically treated as a long weekend. No practices. Maybe film review but injured players get treatment at the facility and back to regular routine after the Sunday games.

If I am the Colts I shut down Luck for the season, trade the top pick for a top 7 pick this year, 2nd rounder this year and another 1st round pick next year. They can turn that thing around pretty quickly if they play their cards right.

If Luck's arm never comes back right (which is not an unlikely scenario), the Colts still have his ludicrous contract to deal with.
 
I really want Treston Decoud to take this opportunity to become a Richard Sherman esque shutdown corner for us. Mainly so I can see people at games yell, "DECOUUUUUUUUD" while blowing into seashell horns Aquaman style everytime he makes a play.

The Colts seem to be in rebuild mode and if they end up with the worst record, which is highly likely this season, that #1 pick could turn into the USC QB, Sam Darnold. If Luck never returns to his old form they may need that pick for Darnold. It's a darn shame what they did to Luck up there, and it's even worse that the Colts always seem to have the best College QB's fall right into their laps at draft time! I guess there is something to that "horseshoe" and luck after all. Just not to Andrew Luck! :shades:

Darnold is nice but Rudolph (Ok St) is stealing everyone's thunder. He could very well elevate himself to the top of the 2018 QB Class by season's end.
