JJ Watt flew more than 20 teammates up to his cabin in Wisconsin so they could all train together. From snapchat:

There's a good chance Texans will play on AstroTurf at NRG Stadium 4 a 2nd season n a row. Bob McNair "We’re seriously looking at that."

and I think it is possible that K. Johnson can be better than either Jackson or Joseph. There are some good players on this team, fans just forget sometimes when the negative aspects of a game are getting the focus.
AJ Bouye is signing his tender with the Texans today, so that's good news in my book. Dude is always around the ball.and I think it is possible that K. Yeah I started to add that but not many agree that he will be a very good CB.AJ Bouye is signing his tender with the Texans today, so that's good news in my book. Dude is always around the ball.

good point and I think most folks remember only the name of the player announced as getting the tackle; others often make plays that cause "the" play.Good special teams player too which most people tend to ignore or underrate.

With the return of Bouye. Joseph, Jackson, Johnson and Bouye is a strong four at cornerback. Add in James, still a strength of the defense.
The Texans and quarterback Brian Hoyer plan to part ways, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reportedTuesday night.
That’s no surprise given the way last season ended and that the Texans spent big money on Brock Osweiler to become their starting quarterback earlier this month. Rapoport’s report didn’t specify if a release was imminent or if the Texans would try to trade Hoyer.

My only regret is that I could only like this post once.
Veteran defensive tackle Nick Fairley is signing a one-year contract with the New Orleans Saints after declining contract offers from the Texans, New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles, according to a source not authorized to speak publicly.
First I've heard of it also. I'm curious as to what the offer was and why he chose the sAints over the Texans.

I don't really know anything about it but the Saints are moving to a 4-3 this year. Pretty sure in the past that Fairley has said he wants nothing to do with playing in a 3-4.
He also gets to re-join Suh.
I thought Suh was in Miami?
Wow.
OK.
I guess the drugs kicked in. For some reason, I thought he'd signed with the Dolphins, not the Saints.
My bad.
If he wants to be closer to Mardi Gras, perhaps we really did want him after all.I know. I'm glad we at least made the offer to him.
Fairely has spent his entire NFL career in the 4-3. Not only a Doctor of medical X and Os but an aficionado of the football X and Os as well.Fairely has spent his entire NFL career in the 4-3. The Saints specifically signed him expecting him to play the 3-technique tackle in their new 4-3.
http://www.nola.com/saints/index.ssf/2016/03/nick_fairley_contract.htmlDefensive tackle Nick Fairley's new deal with the New Orleans Saints will last for only one season, but the team used an accounting maneuver to limit their salary cap liability.
The Saints' official announcement said Fairley signed a one-year deal, but the actual contract is for three years, the Boston Globe reported. However, the final two years of the contract void automatically if Fairley is still on the roster in February.

Average NFL passer rating last season was a record 90.2. Steve Young (96.8), Joe Montana (92.3) only HOF QBs with a higher career rating.
Something's happened to the game since the good ole days............esp, when Hoyer came out with a 91.4.![]()
It's changing quickly too. When Schaub got to the Texans topping 90 was very good. Now it's meh.
& when Schaub threw for 4,000 yards it was something. Now... it's expected.
Something isn't right when I find out on Clutchfans that the Texans have re-signed Brandon Weeden.
Did I miss this on here and if so what thread was it in?

It was in the parting ways with Hoyer thread.Probably got thrown into an all everything thread because the internet will break if another thread is started.
