Who would you say was the texans most improved player from last year to this one?

nobody really whole team did a LITTLE better but dunta is a great player that will only get better

If you mean 2003 to 2004 I think it was David Carr. He really improved his field vision. I thought that was one of the real poor areas of his game his first two years.

David Carr stepped his game up big time IMO, but it's too bad he couldn't stay consistent with it in the 2nd half of the season though :(

Andre took that next step as well by making his first pro bowl appearance in only his 2nd year :thumbup

Dunta is the Texans defensive MVP by far, but he could use a better supporting cast though

Oh, an Jabar Gaffney step his game up too :thumbup

Petey Faggins went from the practice squad in '03 to a solid #3 CB & a multiyear deal.

glenn earl--went from an injured 4th rd. pick, to busting his ***** in rehab, to starter by midseason (not sure which game, though).

I would have to agree with you there, he did a great job last year. He really stepped up his game. Hopefully he can keep on improving and get more play time.

Anybody remember who Capers said was the most improved player during the training camp prior to last season?

Hint #1--he didn't get playing time reflecting a continuing belief in that improvement.
Hint #2--he has his own set of cheerleaders on the MB.

Yall are way off base and need to review the tapes.. I am shocked at the "rookie" scouting report that is going on and wonder if anyone watched the games.

the real most improved is .... *drum roll*................ Matt Stevens... How many tackles did he miss this season compared to last ? :heh: :woot

as far as most improved from 03 to 04 i'd have to say it was faggins...the boy really came into his own this season...in 04 to 05 i'm hoping it's peek and he becomes our starting ROLB

i'd have to say the most improved would have to Aaron Glenn after his off injury plagued 2003 season, he came back strong and had a productive 2004 season !

IMO Carr would have been most improved IF he had time to throw the ball. But if ifs and buts were candy and nuts we would all have a merry christmas.

So my vote goes to wong.
