Oh its not mine, but I do like the flag a lot, just not at over $100 bucks. Its a freebie for God's sake. I'd do maybe 25.00 or trade or something but not 132.50, that's a more reasonable flag and fajitas with the works for my homies.

I was kinda hoping to get the price up on it and bid it up and didn't realize I would actually have to pay that much for it. Soooo... Anyone else wanna bid to get the price up???? PLEASE lol
 
My flag and flag pole were stolen in the Orange parking lot at the first game this year. I was more upset over losing the flag.

i seen it go for $355. i was in on the bidding. i stopped at $250. 69 total bids. i buy football cards on ebay alot (mainly texan rookies ) and it all comes down to how much someone is willing to pay for something. never seen something take off like that in the last minute though.

Yeah, that thing legitately went for $355. You can say it was ridiculous however it wasn't bogus. I think we already covered how one person can't keep jacking up the bid all by himself (unless he fraudulently has mulitple ebay accounts). Even that serves no purpose unless someone legitimate outbids the fraudulent bidder (the fraudulent bidder being the seller in most cases).
 
355.00 maybe is legit, well never know unless the buyer says hey. Where would one go to have one custom made?

You would have to find someone that won't mind taking the risk of being sued for copyright violation. That will be hard to find.

I tried getting a shirt made that said "If Dallas is America's Team then consider me a Texan!". I couldn't get anyone to do it because I had a Texans helmet in my graphic.

I might still have those shirts made however I will have to use our Texans Talk logo since I own the copyright on that.
 
thats cool, I figured the one going for 355.00 in used condition you should have gotten alot more for it.

I'll be interested how much the other one goes for. That fact of that one going up and the fact of the Texans losing last week didn't help I am sure.

However can I really complain about getting $150? BTW, I don't consider that flag a "freebie". I lost a ton of money on those tickets that season. That was Mario's rookie season when everyone was pissed about the draft and I couldn't even give my tickets away. I remember one game walking into the stadium with 3 extra tickets in my pocket because nobody would take them even for free. Everyone I asked said they preferred to tailgate than going in. Those 3 tickets I ate that day cost me more than $150.

While it's not much compared to what I lost I will consider it partial payback, and someone who really wants the flag is getting it in mint condition and will use it proudly I am sure.

I feel ya, I would have kept bidding up on that but I don't think there is a way I could explain to my wife that I spent over 150 dollars on a flag. I get yelled at enough over spending money on stuff lol.

ebay is high risk/high reward. it's all about timing. your right about the freebie thing. season tix plus the drive from austin aint cheap. i have 4 tix and sometimes they're a burden, can't give them away. if you weren't using the flag then it's a win. i've seen rare cards go for big prices as well and then another one pops up and he/she doesn't get no where's near the same price. i've been outbid on football cards and a week later got the same card for a fraction of what i was outbid on.
