We may not see BO'b be fired but I foresee BO'b being forced to relinquish his OC job.
Yeah I think him and the GM are going to have a long talk about that......oh......wait.

Bubba Gump could have done better because he knows he is slow and would have gotten helpJason garret could have done a better job today
Yeah bro. He did watch 41 unanswered points. Your boy was watching like me and you.
41 unanswered by him.
He is a world class con man and brown noserOB got hired for offense but he's not good at ANYTHING! please tell me. what is OB good at? losing
He pieced together many of the components that created the circle of crap.Just like last year there was plenty of suck to go around and people forget it’s entirely possible for the offense, defense, QB, and play calling to all suck in the same game at the same time.
Ultimately the buck stops with the HC but let’s not pretend like OB was the only factor in the great circle of crap.
Yeah all on himAnd that's all on him?
Up 24-0...KC has long return and scores in 2 plays.
Up 24-7...we get to 4th and 3 and do a fake punt. 24-14 soon after
Up 24-14...we fumble the kickoff return and they score 24-21
Up 24-21...we get one first down but don't convert the second. The series contained a run up the gain for 0, a designed short pass to Hopkins which he fumbled but we recovered and loss yards which equaled a 3rd and long which the pass was incomplete. Some feel pass interference but it's whatever. Either way looks like screw ups all around unless Watson fumbled for Hop (and called the silly play) and helped Hyde get 0 yards. KC goes down and scores yet again 28-24.
Down 28-24...Watson gets the offense down the field with a long pass, a scramble and the kicker misses the field goal. Darn Watson and his leg.
Down 28-24...KC gets the ball and goes right down the field 31-28
Down 31-24...3 and out after illegal formation, a pass completion for 9, a 1 yard run for Hyde and then Watson gets sacked. If only he blocked for himself...KC again takes the ball down the field 41-24.
But all of that is on Watson. The playcalls like the Hopkins hitch pass, the Hyde up the middle for no to small gains and getting sacked too. Sorry but that wasn't the case and not overly objective. The defense did not stop the Chiefs once. Not....one....single...time. What you see is gaffs all around from blocking, to playcalling, to special teams, to lack of discipline and one questionable pass attempt by Watson. But somehow you solely put it on one guy? That was an entire team meltdown beginning on the sidelines with those guys wearing headsets.

BO'b is not the owner. If the owner wants his OC/GM duties taken away there is little BO'b can do.Yeah I think him and the GM are going to have a long talk about that......oh......wait.

Not sure why people are b!tching about mahomes wanting to score another TD or blitzing late.
This is how you secure a win.
As HC he may have final say on play calling but if he is demoted from his OC position his system that he so cherishes will be a thing of the past. That has to be good to some extent. What will that do. BOB will still call the shots as HC.
I think it will happen.Oh that’s cute, you think Cal cares as long as tickets keep selling out.
If this happens it would be good. Who the hell is going to hire this OC that is going to change BOB's system? The main problem is ownership. We are screwed. As HC he may have final say on play calling but if he is demoted from his OC position his system that he so cherishes will be a thing of the past. That has to be good to some extent.
It wouldn’t be so bad except for the taunting, and some classless behavior. Plus seriously was there any chance the Texans come back. That’s just running up the score it wasn’t like it was the 3rd quarter. I understand being pumped, and all that but I saw a lot of immaturity today.
Call me a homer, call me sensitive I don’t care, but where is Barry Sanders who handed the call to the ref. I would call out the same behavior on the Texans as well.
Bill will manage to f this up.
Sure the players have to execute. He put trust in RAC to scheme an effective defensive gameplan. He apparently puts together the offensive gameplan. Everything was going our way. He made some questionable decisions when we had the lead. Even if Watson orchestrated a TD on every drive in the 2nd half he still doesn't play defense. BoB has multiple job titles/roles so yes alot does fall on him. Not everything, but alot.Really? So he is to blame when Watson makes a bad throw or the defense can’t stop a blind, three legged dog? Again the buck stops with the HC but the entire team, Watson and RAC included, added their own crap to the circle separate from OB.
I think it will happen.
This was us in "win now" mode. Dear lord
You want a cookie or something?
Kubiak was good at beating the Bengals.well when all is said and done correct me if I'm wrong but the Texans never won a playoff game to the next round til this year right?

under anybodyUnder OB?
under anybody
under anybody
All I’ll remember about this game is that I was about to bone my girlfriend out by the lake. O’Brien called that fake punt, then she says “no way”.
Those damn invoices for the 2020 season tickets are probably already in the mail. They get more unpleasant to pay every year.
I thought the same exact thing while watching the game.It was clear to me that the Texans are just plain SLOW compared to the chiefs. We are especially slow at the LB and CB spot (except Roby). And on the offensive side, even when we do have a fast guy like Fuller, we don't utilize him enough in different situations like the chiefs do with their speedsters. I hope we realize this and draft fast linebackers and corner backs in the future (with the few draft picks we have).
51 is the most points the Texans have ever allowed.
Too many to count but let's give him another extension.Another one to add to the B'OB legacy. Btw, how many awful blowout losses has this team had under his reign?
3 I think in the playoffs alone.Another one to add to the B'OB legacy. Btw, how many awful blowout losses has this team had under his reign?
And it continues. HA HA HA
Looks like he made one pretty effective today.
Kubiak won two playoff games.
OB still needs one more to tie that Texans record of two whole playoff wins.
Vrabel has a chance pull ahead of OB by one game if he can win this weekend.
