One of the dumbest things we've heard leading up to this weekend's draft is that running back Reggie Bush isn't big enough to carry 20 to 25 times a game.
First of all, no running back who rushed for at least 1,000 yards last season averaged 25 carries. Edgerrin James, who rushed for 1,506 yards, was the only back to average 24.
Shaun Alexander, the NFL's leading rusher with 1,880 yards, averaged 23.1 carries. He was the only other back to average at least 23.
For all of those who think Bush is too small, the evidence shows that you may have to think again.
