Not sure if you noticed, but there are only 25 players on that list and those 25 guys are scheduled to count just over $78.5 million against the cap.

That isn't this years cap. If you click on the 2006 page you will see we are working with 9mill, which is pretty damn good. There should be no reason why we can't go out and sign some real talent.

There are 7 2nd and 3rd draft pix in the list of UFA's. P-Buch counts as 2 of them. That's pretty sad considering that nobody on that list is worth keeping around.

I've posted a million times that Cass has had 15 2nd and 3rd rd' pix and all we got to show for it is Pitts and Morency (who still needs to prove himself). Let the purging begin and let all of the UFA's walk except for the LS and the Punter.

When you sign players to stupid contracts (Gary Walker and Todd Wade as exhibit A and B) what do you expect? The scary thing is that there's two years of bonus proration left on those deals after '07.
