I do want to take the time to thank the Texans fans for not celebrating Brandon Stokley's injury on this board like so many Jaguars fans are on their message board... the funny thing is that they do not know how to add and think Brandon will be out for our game against them on September 18th. I for one am not the type of person to celebrate a player's injury no matter what team they are on. So, thanks for being classy fans and have a great season... I will be here on and off since I go to all message boards!

WOW. Show me where on the Jaguars mb anybody celebrated Stokely's injury. I REALLY WANT TO SEE THIS. I am always on the Jag message board and I have yet to see anybody celebrate Srokely's injury. I for one, along with others, hoped that he would be alright asap.

Stop making it sound like Jag fans are the scum of the Earth. If you did see somebody celebrate Stoke's injury (which I would STILL like you to post) they were most likely a child (many kids are still off for summer vacation and have nothing better to do when mommy and daddy are at work).

I hope that Stoke's injury will be fine, and he will get back on the field ASAP.

According to Joe Gibbs, the COWGIRLS! :) Well, at least he called them the "ugliest" fans. He is now apologizing! Why should he apologize for telling the truth! :confused:

Anyway, WELCOME to the Texans MB D/B/C. I'm with you in that a players injury should NEVER be celebrated. I don't care what team he plays for, even the lowly jags or girls! We should all remember that it is a GAME, designed for our entertainment! Personally, I want the best players from each team on that field so that when the TEXANS whip their butts, noone can make excuses.

Please note: fldvldog is a jags fan!

Go look at page 8 on the "Our division rivals have the first crack in their armor" thread at the jags mb. I foresee all kinds of flaming rants in response, but after having to sort through all the jr high name calling crapola in that thread it was just too easy and too good to pass up.

Funny. I see nowhere (anywhere) in that entire thread where we celebrated anybody's injury. Might want to take another look at that there aj! :read:

What does me being a Jag fan have anything to do with people celebrating Stokely's injury? You really got me with that one! I agree that it is a GAME and no injuries should be celebrated -- but none are. I have yet to see anywhere where somebody is celebrating his injury.

The context of the later pages of that thread was basically a Jag fan and a colt fan arguing about their teams. No context was about celebrating Stoke's injury. NONE...
 
You're right. It's all immature name calling and flame wars. Typical jags message board style.

I meant the context of my post, the one about six spaces above this one where I basically came to your defense. Focus on the last sentence and not on the first paragraph which has nothing to do with the Stokely injury.

I went back and edited that post for clarity.

Well it was going both ways. And may I again add that there is ALOT of kids on our mb. Don't know why...there just is. But I am just sticking up for the other Jag fans because people are blaming us for "celebrating an injury." And that is not the case at all...
 
aj, you gotta remember to Keep It Simple when talking to a Jags fan. Remember, small words, so clearly stated there is no room for interpretation. The mere word interpretation is too long, come to think of it. :rolleyes:

first, thanks for the funny compliment. Second, the topic of the thread was a thank you from a Colts fan for not celebrating a Colts players injury. Your Jags reference was just that a reference. So you defense of your board, though while admirable, is also :offtopic :neener:

so getting back to the actual topic of the thread, YOUR WELCOME D/B/C Coltsfan. And Stokley will be back before the Texans play you, hopefully we figure out how to contain him a bit better than we did last year in the RCA dome.
 
I look forward to watching the Colts vs Texans games this year. I would never have a dance over the Colts losing Stokley, but you wont see me crying over it either. I think our Secondary at least has a chance againt the Colts. I wouldn't want to ruin the matchup with a load of injuries on either side. =)


(I'd love to see how were going to slow down Dwight Freeney.)
