taking D-brick #1

# 1 overall - D'Brickashaw Ferguson - What else would you want from a "Franchise" left tackle?? He shows all the tools to get the job done. What do you feel about when he says "its my soul responsability to protect my quarterback"

# 33 overall - Jonathan Joseph - For all you guys that want to get another big defensive playmaker in the secondary...thos is a guy you is almost a clone if you will of Dunta Robinson. Can you imagin D-Rob and J.J.

# 65 overall - Gerris Wilkenson - A great player in the middle. Look for him to start early in his career...reminds me a little of how Odell Thurman played for the Bengals last year.

#66 overall - Jonathan Scott - His stock has fallen very much and would be an outstanding pickup here. A good athlete for his size...can you imagine Ferguson - Pitts - Flanagan - McKinney - Scott ??? What an o-line!!! If Scott can make a succesful transaction to right tackle, that means we can release Todd Wade!!!!

# 97 overall - A.J. Nicholson - He saw his stock fall when he had an off the field problem towards the end of last year. Has great size and speed, he's a good sideline - to - sideline tackler. Could either be a steal or an issue for the Texans.

# 161 overall - Will Allen - Well eventually fans will get tired of Mckinney and how good would it be when Scott and Allen have played next to each other in College. He has a big body and can eat up smaller defenders. The Texans o-line in the future could look like this...
Ferguson - Pitts - Hodgdon - Allen - Scott

# 193 overall - Greg Threat - Only got to start one season at Miami and did a decent job. Lost his starting spot his senoir year so we didnt get to see much of him. Could be a big steal because he seems like a smaller Sean Taylor, if he doesnt turn out that well im sure he could do good in special teams.

I think it would be sweet if we saw this draft turn out like this...tell me what you think

I don't really like it. Ferguson at #1 is absolutely a mistake, plus I know there is 0% chance that will happen anyways. From what I've seen of Jonathan Scott I question his ability to be real effective in a zone blocking scheme. Will Allen would be ok in the 6th, but I prefer Chris Kuper who should also be available. Gerris Wilkinson would be an ok pick there and Johnathan Joseph would be great if he actually falls to #33. A.J. Nicholson and Greg Threat would both be pretty good grabs at the pick you have us getting them.

i like most of it except D'brick @ #1(not likely anyway so i wont get too bothered). hate the Scott pick though
