They'll get a new stadium, it just won't be located in New Orleans.tulexan said:Well the Saints got their wish. They have been really pushing for a new stadium for a while, and it looks like they will get it now. There is no way now that the NFL will move the Saints to some other city. The city will need the revenue, and it would be a PR nightmare to pull the team from the city and move it to LA or San Antonio. I also expect the next available Super Bowl to be in New Orleans.

They may be playing in baton rouge for the next two years, but the saints will be a part of the rebuilt new orleans and new orleans will hosts many more sugar bowls and superbowls in a great new stadium. This will certainly take a backseat to rebuilding residences and getting families back on their feet again, but, you can bet new orleans will be back better than ever!

Huge said:Honestly, they should move them to Los Angeles. The league needs a team in that market anyway.
New Orleans won't be ready to host another team for at least another 5 years...if ever. If/When they're ready, give them an expansion team. That entire region is going to be starting fresh. Might as well start with a new team as well.

presence of Fortune 500 corporate residents to occupy the suites and provide revenues that all owners look to these days.
