Superbowl Predictions

Superbowl MVP

r593950219.jpg

COREY DILLION

I predict we will have one h*ll of a party!!!!! And either the Patsies or Iggles will win.
I don't have a dog in this fight so here for the party.
(don't like either one)

Patriots 27
Eagles 6

Dont see the Eagles doin much more than the Dolts or Steelers did against that D . TO or no TO .

And another Super Bowl MVP for Brady.

Eagles 21 Patriots 17

For this to happen, the Eagles will have to contain Cory Dillon. The Eagles cannot make any turnovers and the defensive secondary corp of linbackers, coners and safetys will have to use defensive coordinator Jim Johnson's game plan to perfection. The Eagle defense can be awesome.

E-A-G-L-E-S Go Iggles

I just have a feeling that this game is going to be a blowout win for the Pats. The Eagles are just happy that they finally got to the big stage and Patriots are in their 3rd Superbowl. The Patriots figured out a way to stop Manning and beat the Steelers who have the best defense in the league. I see no reason why they can't figure out the Eagles and beat them soundly. My score: Pats 41 Eagles 17.

Patriots 34, Eagles 14

I might be a little presumptuous here, but I have the suspicion that anyone who picks Philadelphia is picking out of what they want to happen, not what they see happening.

The injury riddled TEAM of no-names has my profound respect.

Patriots 27
Eagles 13

Super Bowl MVP: Corey Dillon...26 car,131 yds,2 TDs

Owens: 3 rec,40 yds
Mitchell: 0 rec,0 yds and a broken ego.

Harrison gets AT LEAST one big hit on Mitchell/TO/Pinkston

E-A-G-L-E-S Go Eagles

The Eagles Prayer
Our Quarterback who art in the Linc, Donovan be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy 'Bowl will be won,
on Jacksonville's turf, as it was in Philly.
Give us this week, our yearly win and forgive us our
pass interferences, as we forgive those
who make field goals against us.
Lead us NOW into interceptions,
and deliver us the Trophy.
Amen.

E-A-G-L-E-S Go Eagles

Eagles 27 Patriots 17

I have added two long David Akers Field Goals to make the final score 27-17 - Eagles win

Score-Pats-27
Eagles-24
by a 3rd last second fg from Vinateri

MVP-Tom Brady

and a good show,BUT!! not as good as the one we threw last yr!!! or the one we'll throw on '09!!!!!!

Here's an idea the Texans should try sometime; fans helping create plays for the game ....
how's this for being creative:
To ease the burden, we’re asking you, or readers, to come up with a new play for the Patriots to use in Sunday’s Super Bowl. Try to be creative, as we’re sure Charlie’s playbook is already full with plenty of sweeps, screens and other run-of-the-mill plays.

On Friday, former Patriots linebacker and current Curry College head coach Steve Nelson will look over your entries and pick one that just might make a worthy addition to the Patriots’ playbook.

27-7 Pats win. The Pats get a Branch TD, A kick return TD, a D Td and then Adam can kick one through at the end just to make it like old times.

According to my XBox (which of coarse is never wrong....)

Despite grabbing an early interception, the Eagles were never able to get going in the first half as Tom Brady and the Patriots built a 23-0 lead by early in third quarter. The Eagles made the scoreboard a little more respectable with a couple of turnovers deep in Patriots' territory and a long meaningless TD at the end of the game but 5 turnovers kept from ever getting back into the game.

New England 36 Philadelphia 24

Super Bowl MVP: Adam Vinatieri (seriously) with a Super Bowl record 5 field goals.

31-21 Philly

T.O. has 7 catches, 120 yards, 2 TDs, one crazy celebration and a Super Bowl MVP award.

I highly doubt that he has a performance like that coming off an injury, but may the force be with him LoL and I know he said to the press he would play at the superbowl a few days back. It is official now?

Fiddy, I like what you forecast, that the Eagles will win the Superbowl. They are very underated.

My final score is 27-17 Iggles. Three iggle TD's and two Akers FG's. :howdy:

Yeah, its offical. And he is probably going to start, too. T.O. is a gamer and some people may not like he but he leaves everything out on the field. I expect him to have a huge game. Willis Reed-esqe (even though Reed didnt have that great of a game stats wise).

Yep. The one comparision I heard on ESPN was the Pats vs. Rams. No one gave the Pats a chance...

I just figure that Brady is due to have an off game w/ a few picks. Losing a big game will do him some good in the long run. :heh:

I actually somewhat like the Eagles, but I honestly think the Pats will win...BIG...

27-10 Pats...

MVP = Brady...

I cant believe how many people are writing off the Eagles in this game. Reminds me of 2001 when everyone was writing off these same Patriots against the Rams.

If the Eagles could get to Brady and beat him up early, they would have a chance. But, I don't think that they can get to him. However, in the last few weeks, I have been impressed with Trotter.
Brady and the boys win.....
pat's 36
Eagles 14

Dark Piranha Has Seen SUPER BOWL XXXIX!!!!
I am – Hercules!!

This has to be one of the cooler scoops Coaxial News has ever gotten. Sorry I waited so long to post it, but I had to call my bookie first. But check it: “Dark Pirahna” has seen the entire Super Bowl a full three days before it airs!!!
BEWARE GIGANTIC SPOILAGE!!!

I hope Brian Dawkins puts a serious but legal hit on Brady to show him what it is like for most NFL QB's. Dawkins is one of the best at getting to the QB.

For Houstonians, here is a good reason to route for the Eagles. Eagle strong safety and pro bowl bound Michael Lewis played his High School ball at Lamar Consolidated HS, Richmond/Rosenberg, TX.

Patriots have their share of local guys too. :D

David Givens ... Humble (Notre Dame)
Larry Izzo ...... Houston (Rice)
Bethel Johnson .. Corsicana (Texas A&M)
Ethan Kelley ..... Sugar Land (Baylor)
Ty Warren ........ Bryan (Texas A&M)
Billy Yates ..... ?? (Texas A&M)

I love the guy, but the NFL is all about drama. The king of the league hits the wall and T.O. and Andy Reid look like genius!

Eagles 27
Pats 17

Eagles will lose but TO will have minimum 1 TD and he'll get MVD honors for most valuable Dancer  but he'll lose the game and do this :hairpull:

8's of all squares... :hairpull:
