Gutsy call not going for a FG pays off. 14-14 going to the half.

That is the difference between winning and losing a lot of the time. McCarthy played Seattle not to lose - Carroll, love him or hate him, plays to win and has the utmost faith in his players.

Here you go #Browns fans: Browns signed Chris Matthews as an undrafted rookie out of Kentucky in 2011. Released before the start of season.

Commercials have been very disappointing so far

Consider yourself lucky. Despite watching NBC - Canadian broadcasting rules mean that they overlay Canadian market (i.e. crappy) adverts over the breaks - so we don't get to watch any of the awesome adverts.

They keep talking about Brady catching Montana with the most Super Bowl TD passes. Would like to hear them say Brady needed 6 games to do that where Montana only needed four, and Brady has thrown 7 INTs to go along with them compared to ZERO for Montana.

Typically Gronkowski lines up in the slot more than twice as much as out wide. Tonight it's about even.

Rob Gronkowski typically lines up as the furthest right WR on 6.8% of snaps. He has on 15% tonight. Over half of those, Sherman across him

Seahawks halftime DL snap count: Bennett 32, Avril 32, K.Williams 21, Dobbs 19, T. McDaniel 18, Schofield 14, Landon Cohen 9, Will Tukuafu 2

Patriots halftime TE snap count: Rob Gronkowski 40, Michael Hoomanawanui 7, Cameron Fleming(OL as a 6OL/blocking TE) 5, Tim Wright 1

Patriots typically use 3 WR sets just 32.2% of snaps, but tonight they have used it on 60% of snaps

Patriots halftime RB snap count: Shane Vereen 23, LeGarrette Blount 17, James Develin 8, Brandon Bolden 0

Both Tavon Wilson and Jonathan Casillas had noteworthy roles in the NE defense late in the season. No defensive snaps for either so far

Patriots have had 3 or more CB's on the field on 80% of plays so far. 3 snaps with 4 CB's including that last TD play.

Patriots halftime Edge Rusher Snap count: Rob Ninkovich 25, Chandler Jones 24, Akeem Ayers 7

Patriots halftime Defensive Interior snap count: Sealver Siliga 18, Vince Wilfork 17, Alan Branch 8, Chris Jones 5

Seahawks halftime TE snap count: Luke Willson 18, Cooper Helfet 4, Tony Moeaki 1

Seahawks used a 4 WR set on 28% of their offensive snaps. Season average was 8%

Seahawks halftime WR snap count: Jermaine Kearse 24, Doug Baldwin 21, Ricardo Lockette 15, Chris Matthews 9, Bryan Walters 6

Seahawks halftime RB snap count: Marshawn Lynch 18, Robert Turbin 5, Will Tukuafu 4, Christine Michael 0

It could just be me but I don't remember any halftime performer since Janet Jackson (for obvious reasons). That's not changing this year.

Didn't mind the Stones or Springsteen.

I'm not a Katy Perry fan, but I recognise most of these songs, and the production values are pretty cool. I'll give it a B minus.

I thought that overall it might have been the best half time show ever

I was serious in saying I don't remember the halftime shows. It's all about the game to me.

Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett would have been better.

Those two have made a cool pairing, but the halftime show needs some kinetic energy and I could imagine John McClain getting through a plate of broccoli and a rice cake with more gusto than the old man can cut a rug right now. All do respect to Tony and the broccoli.

One thing I never understood about our previous coach. We rarely tested their 3rd & 4th cover guys. That's what Seattle is doing now. Not going to test Revis, not going to test Browner.. but that third guy is going to get a work out.

Terrible call on 3rd and 1. You have Wilson's mobility, and even if you don't call his number you should run a play that forces the defense to stay on him and maybe create a running lane. That looked like vintage Kubiak there.

cuz we never had a guy to test the 2nd guy, much less the 4th

Make it 8 INTs.

Chris Matthews does not have a reception in a regular season game and he's the Seahawks #1 WR today.

If the Seahawks score again, they should give the ball CPR for the celebration.

They're going to get a penalty, but it'll be worth it.

Brady loses his composure frequently when he gets hit a lot. He doesn't cope with it well.

The whole of the Pats team looks like they are struggling.

They must going through their scouting notes saying "Who the heck is this #13" before Youtubing a ton of CFL videos from 2012.
