Jaguars fans were so annoying that I legitimately wanted a meteor to hit Gillette Stadium. Can't fathom rooting for Brady, ever.

They're gonna be a ***** to deal with until the salary cap splits up that defense.
 
I hate the Patriots like all normal people do, but I am a Cowboys fan, so I also hate the Eagles. What a crappy Super Bowl.

If the Eagirls win, Foles is going to make all of that money that Keenum and Bortles just lost in free agency

The Cowboys are steeped in hypocrisy and mediocracy so non wonder you are upset that division rival Philidelphia, the best in the NFC East team, is going to the SB
to meet the best organization in the NFL.

Yep. Pay me $40 million with incentives and I'll be glad to take as many arrows as they want to shoot at me.

He gets paid that much for that very reason. The owners are certainly not dumb men considering their combined worth is more than the GDP of many small countries. If not Roger, then some other guy doing the same job.
 
How many rings does Brady have right now? Five? A quick look says it's five. He must not win a 6th. It's imperative that the man not see a sixth ring on his fingers. The way that S.O.B. is he'll get to six, hold out his hands and look at them and then decide to keep playing until he's got an even ten.

Since 2002 (I think) to now, Brady, Manning, and Roethlisberger have been the QB's in every SB except ONE. That one was Flacco and the Ravens. So ya, QB is pretty important. And defenses, and......
 
So how do they pick the team that gets to play the Patsies in the SB every year? Is there like a lottery or something?

Since '03, but yeah, just 4 QBs representing the AFC in the last 15 seasons, 3 in 14 of those 15 years, and 9 SB wins by those 4 QBs. In the same time span, 12 QBs have started the SB in the NFC with just 4 of them winning 5 SBs.
 
Another first with the 2017-18 season, I won't be watching the Superbowl this year. I just don't have it in me to watch more whining, flopping, cheap shots, near cheating, actual cheating and ref-friends that come with the Patriots' Superbowl wins. And Philly shouldn't even have a team with those fans, the team needs to start receiving repercussions. Can't do it.

I am surprisingly excited about the upcoming Super Bowl. Even though my choices were the Vikings and Steelers, it was just something about that Patriots game last Super Bowl and again on Sunday that pulled a new found respect for that team and the winning spirit. They will probably never be a team that I "like" but putting that aside, they are just good (Great) and keeps me on the edge of my seat curious about what they will do next to win a game especially after being down. Of course, I do have to take a shot at the Eagles, nope, don't like 'em, but IF they pull out a since I will say congratulations! (Even if it took 83 years).

I like the Patriots because they are usually very entertaining especially on the offense side with Brady threading the needle to a talented array receivers like Gronk,Amondola,
Edleman, etc. They are the best, the standard. I respect them, admire them and I'm envious.

It was reported on Sunday that some of the Eagles fans were throwing unopened beer cans at Vikings fans as they headed to the stadium, and unfortunately, I was not surprised. I never forgot how they cheered when Michael Irvin was out on the field with a career ending injury.

My best bud is a Brady/Patriots hater, mainly due to their success. Every SB they're in I have to hear it, and last year was so sweet. Three quarters of talking trash, knowing that I respect and enjoy Brady, and to see them sit there and have to watch one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history was a blast.

I just ask them why do they hate greatness? We are watching one of, if not the, greatest QBs in history, and certainly the greatest QB/HC combo ever. These are great times to be a football fan, because I doubt we ever see anything even close to such greatness in our lifetimes.

Wow. Just classless. I'm sure there have been individuals causing trouble at various venues, but Philly in general seems to revel in this sort of stuff.

I remember that incident with Irvin. I thought it was a disgusting display by football fans to go so low. It's just a game, and love or hate Michael Irvin, he's there to entertain you.

I understand why people hate the Patriots. It's envy. We all know it. But how can you not appreciate Brady? Enjoy the greatness while it's still here. You're watching the greatest of all time and he won't be here forever.

No Gronk, no Edelman, no running game, best pass rush in the league bearing down on him every single snap, best pass defense in the league smothering what's left of his receiving corp......it still doesn't matter. He still gets the job done.

True, but since the Tuck Rule I never warmed up to the Patriots although they didn’t make the call, just the recipient, and I liked Oakland. I still can’t deny that they are GOAT, and so many of their plays are spectacular. Games they should have lost(Oakland, Carolina, Seattle, and Atlanta) they found a way to claim victory, I don’t buy into being tired of seeing them win because I know if it were the Cowboys I would be celebrating every victory. I don’t buy the constant complaints of cheating either. They have extremely proud fans but they aren’t mean spirited.

My buddies and I were considering the Philly road trip next year for the game with the Texans. I endured Cleveland, those folks were rough. But I'm not sure about Philly. I guess we could have shirts made with the Texans logo on the front and a "Cowboys suck" written on the back. lol, wonder if that would help?

So Cleveland, Philly, and of course Oakland fans are considered among the most unwelcomimg NFL fans/stadiums for visitors, right ? Anybody else belong in that group ?
 
Soooo, anyone got a rooting interest in the game Sunday? I'll watch and be interested because I'm a football junkie, and it's the SB.

I'm tired of the Pats, Brady and the Hoodie, but one has to be impressed. They do so much with so little. I don't guess I'd be too upset with them winning, again. And I damn sure wouldn't be upset if the Eagles put a beat down on them.

I just don't think the Eagles have enough on the sideline (coaching) to get the better of the Hoodie and Brady. The Eagles D front will have to knock the crap outta Brady. And if that happens, Brady will get up and whine and ol Sterratore will start throwing flags and giving the Brady's drive extenders. Kidding aside, I think that is the best chance for the Eagles, hit Brady hard and often and don't give up 21 yds when you have em at 3rd and 19!
 
It's the last football we'll see for a while, so I'll watch some of it for that reason alone. I don't give a **** who wins, though I prefer the Patsies didn't.

Including tomorrow's game, no franchise has been to more SuperBowls than Tom Brady, except the Patriots. Only because they went to two without him.

I'm a huge Pats fan, and with the 4 pt spread I'd bet with the Eagles. Those guys may not win those bets, but they've got good odds. Good bets.
 
Pats are the favorites to get this SB but what happens if Brady gets knocked silly? Doesn't it then come down to Hoyer versus Foles?

Super Bowl LII breakdown: Which facets do Eagles, Patriots hold advantage on?

MINNEAPOLIS — A breakdown of the matchups likely to decide Super Bowl LII's outcome between the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots:

When the Eagles have the ball

On the ground: After averaging seven carries in his first four games following a midseason trade from Miami, Philadelphia RB Jay Ajayi has seen his workload double over the last five games, including postseason, as he's averaged 87.8 yards from scrimmage. While Ajayi is now getting the bulk of the touches, LeGarrette Blount remains the hammer in the red zone, and rookie Corey Clement is available as a changeup.

After a rough midseason stretch, the Patriots have tightened the screws on opposing runners, allowing 72.5 yards, on average, in their last four games. They have intimate knowledge of ex-mate Blount's abilities and are also quite familiar with Ajayi from his Dolphins days. EDGE: Patriots

In the air: Perhaps Super Sunday's X-factor. Will Eagles QB Nick Foles use the conservative approach that worked well enough against Atlanta in the divisional round? Or will he attack downfield as he did against Minnesota, a team that allowed 13 TD passes in the regular season but got torched by Foles for three?

Only the Giants and Buccaneers allowed more passing yards this season than New England. But even though the Patriots will surrender turf by the bushel, they don't cede many points, allowing an average of 14 since Week 5 (the best figure in the NFL in that stretch). They don't feature a sack machine, though DE Trey Flowers is underrated, and OLB James Harrison has contributed more than expected of a 39-year-old who had been collecting dust in Pittsburgh.

Still, New England will be tested in coverage, with Eagles TE Zach Ertz posing problems at a near-Gronk level while WRs Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor are capable of big days — especially since Foles has done such a good job of distributing the ball to the open man. EDGE: Eagles

When the Patriots have the ball

On the ground: New England does a nice job leveraging the skills of a seasoned running back committee that includes Dion Lewis, James White and Rex Burkhead. They ignited the offense through the home stretch of the regular season, averaging 138.2 rushing yards over the last six weeks. But that momentum didn't carry over to the postseason, where the Pats have just 147 total yards on the ground in two games. It's not likely to get better against Philadelphia's top-ranked run D, which has permitted just 79.1 yards per game (including playoffs). EDGE: Eagles

In the air: This may be the game's pivotal battle — four-time Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady and his array of targets against the Eagles' deep, ferocious pass rush. Philly's D-line recorded 33 of the club's 38 sacks in the regular season, and its effectiveness at creating pressure (aside from sacks) allows coordinator Jim Schwartz to use blitzes sparingly and keep more defenders in coverage. Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham, in particular, are elite players who manage to be highly disruptive even if their stats don't always indicate as much. The Eagles' depth should prevent the kind of fatigue that unraveled the Falcons last year.

But will Brady and Co. employ a hurry-up approach in a bid to hijack Philly's substitution patterns? Might work. And Brady's quick release could be deadly since the Eagles can be exposed when the pass rush doesn't get home. Expect New England's backs to be more dangerous in space than carrying the ball. WR Brandin Cooks, who's excelled at drawing pass interference penalties, could stretch the secondary while Danny Amendola works out of the slot. And assuming TE Rob Gronkowski is full speed, Eagles S Malcolm Jenkins and the linebackers will have their hands full. EDGE: Patriots

Special teams

The numbers don't suggest either team should enjoy any significant advantage in terms of the kicking game, returning units or coverage teams. But New England seems more likely to reap a big play from special teams aces Matthew Slater and Brandon Bolden and/or veteran returners Amendola and Lewis. And though Eagles rookie K Jake Elliott was a godsend after replacing Caleb Sturgis, fellow Memphis alum Stephen Gostkowski's experience confers an advantage. EDGE: Patriots
