Strongest arm in college football

Just curious who some of you gurus think has the strongest arm in college football. I know its an extremely random question but am just curious as to who some of the guys are on your radar. Also, this is a major component in QBs that teams really look at. Some names I have heard have been guys like Ryan Mallett for Arkansas, Jevan Snead, etc. So who are some of the QBs that have impressed you with their arm strength?

Ryan Mallett isn't the best QB in the nation, but I would say he easily has the strongest arm. I've heard that he can touch 80+ occasionally.

FWIW, when I saw Snead and McCoy as freshmen I thought Snead was the NFL QB out of the two due to the zip he had on the ball.

Yeah, I like Snead a lot as a pro prospect. Great arm on that kid.

I don't know who has the strongest arm in the Nation but Texas Tech's new QB, Taylor Potts, has a freaking laser cannon mounted on his shoulder. Probably the first QB to play for Leach with a legitimate chance to play in the NFL.

Yeah, everyone seems to be flipping out over this guy. Supposedly, he committed to Michigan but when Rich Rodriguez came over, transferred to Arkansas. I am ready to see what the kid can do.

Interesting. The guy just does not look very big, so its pretty crazy that he has as strong of an arm as you guys say. I will definitely have to catch some Ole Miss games this year. Hopefully the Ole Miss-Arkansas game will be on tv this year so I can check out both of these guys.

Thanks for the heads up. I will definitely be on the lookout for Potts.

I haven't gotten to see any footage on Potts yet. I've heard that he wasn't as intriguing of a prospect as Harrell though. However, none of that mattered to me though. TT has put out one great passer after another in that system over there from Kingsbury to Simmons, to Harrell. I'm sure that Potts will be another great passer for them regardless. Leach is such an offensive genius in my opinion.

You're right, Harrell was a little more highly touted coming out of high school than Potts. But Scout.com had them both rated as 4 star Qb's. If Potts can make good decisions with the ball though, I see no reason why he can't be a better player than Graham. Like you said , either way Leach will make sure the Air Raid offense will be lights out as usual.

Yeah, I'm a Texas fan and lately while I've been talking to some of my buddies that are Texas fans as well sit there sometimes and start dogging on how bad TT is going to be and how they're done since Harrell is gone, and I'm like have you guys forgotten that Harrell is like the 3rd fantastic QB they've had in recent years? WHy they would think that Potts won't be that good is pretty ignorant to me considering how well that system over there operates. I'm sure that Potts will be a pretty good player.
