This is disappointing because it seems obvious this is a golden opportunity to get the rookie some quality snaps with the first unit in a starting role. He's the future, if only in a limited role as a back-up because Clark is a vet who's on the downside of his career. And it's not like Clarks performace was vastly superior to the rookies on Sunday vs the Colts, actually there was probably little difference between the two.
We aren't going to the POs, maybe the biggest thing, maybe the only thing left to salvage in the 2017 season is developing the younger players to the utmost which would also give the organization a better feel of their needs and priorities going into the upcoming 2018 FA & Draft.
