or how about "The Barbeque Pit"
Why do you say that?MikeMc said:Or depending on what section you are in..The Arm Pit!
As much as I like that name as well, it's already taken by the University of New Mexico. Their basketball stadium is called "The Pit".El Tejano said:I like The Pit.

TexansTrueFan said:the name will come with the game, so lets all just let it develope before we come up with the worst stadium name in history.
This is true. We should let the rest of the league name it. If we woop arse, and start becoming a loud place to play the league will catch on and give it something real good.TexansTrueFan said:the name will come with the game, so lets all just let it develope before we come up with the worst stadium name in history.

Plaza de toros pretty much means bull ring.Txnpride said:I want to say they call the stadium an Arena..I went to Spain many years back and went to an event called "THE PLAZA OF TOROS"....How about "THE PLAZA OF PAIN" I figure after we beat an opponent at Reliant,Toro could act like he is goring an opposing player, stomping him in the ground (HURRY UP SEASON!!!!!!!!!!)
I don't remember the Oilers (trying to) dropping the name. We might not have used it (or had any reason to use it) the last few years....but, I don't remember us dropping the name, or recievers complaining.HJam72 said:A word of caution, guys. I don't know if anyone brought this up yet because I haven't read a few pages of posts, but I seem to remember the Oilers dropping that "House of Pain" nickname because guys like Ernest Givens and company were getting their heads clocked by opposing DBs of teams who took offensive to that name (among other things, like Glanville's style of coaching, I suppose).
Tedc said:I think we need to call it Udder Hell. We could have Weird Al Yankovick sing "Who let the cows out" before the game. During the game we would have Worgl running around painting the Platinum signs blue with spray cans all the while screaming, "It was blue when we paid for it!"
Yeah, that would put the scare into 'em!![]()
