Specifics behind the Travis Johnson trade?

When we traded Travis Johnson we were given a cryptic "5th or 6th rounder depending on playing time." I tried to do some research to figure out how much playing time was required for a fifth and got nowhere. So, does anyone know how much playing time was needed to get a 5th for him? Will San Diego play him just to the precipice and then hold him out top save a round pick?

I don't know the specifics of the trade, but he played ~300 snaps, out of over 1000 possible on the season. I would imagine we're getting a 6.

Yep, I am feeling a 6 as well. Unless there was consideration for team record, or advancement in the playoffs. But just based off of playing time and production, we are getting a 6th.

[The terms of the deal was a 5th or 6th round pick depending on whether certain terms were met. I contacted someone with the Texans on this. As they understand it, it is still not determined because they haven't received a report of the % of snaps that TJ participated in. There was a certain threshold. No word when we will get that info. -S]
