All this is hypothetical...

Lendale White drops out of the first round because of his quad tear. I don't see it happening because i think he's still a bruiser, a steven davis type back. Do we hand in our note card with his name on it. Kubiak loves the small back, big back combo. Now this is of course if we don't get bush. Something to think about while we try to pass these 2 weeks before the draft.

If we get Bush or not I still don't think we use #33 on Lendale considering RB is not a real need on this team and I think without Bush Davis can still get the job done. I would rather use #33 on a DB. If we don't draft Bush, I still don't want to see us use a pick on a RB. The only reason we need Bush is because he is such a big playmaker and he's too good to pass up at #1.

I think we need to take Bush and Lendale because ,if we don't spend some picks on O-linemen, we're gonna need replacements for the injured running backs. :)
 
We aren't taking Bush because we want/need a running back, we're taking him because the team thinks he can be lined up all over the field, create mismatches for the offense, and can go yard at any time. There's a lot better things we can do with the 33rd pick, and if he isn't gone by then because the Steelers pass, then I wouldn't touch the guy...
 
At the end of 2005, we had DD, Morency, J.Wells....... we knew what we had, and Runningback was not a need.

If DD get's hurt, and we need an option other than Morency, we have..... what?? we don't know.

Just like Reggie is a "can't pass" player @ #1, I think D'Angelo, Lendale, Addai, & Moroney, are can't pass players @ #33.

For the most part, I think we'll be drafting BPA with every pick, adding depth, rather than addressing needs.

I think Buchanon will play better in a 4-3, and I think our run defense will also be improved. Our Oline's biggest problem now, is depth....... I think our starters, or the guys I think will start, will do a good job, fair to middle.... we need guys who can relieve our boys on long drives, and step in for a game or two, without adding extra pressure to the players around him.
