Because Dan Snyder is trying to get an All-Star staff. Al Saunders and Greg Williams were both signed to huge contracts for coordinators. Jerry Gray is probably getting paid pretty well also.

You're right on. Saunders and Williams are getting paid more than half of the head coaches in the league and Gray is likely getting paid as much as most coordinators.
 
Are you sure? From what I heard he's a Assistant Head Coach. Doesnt that qualify for more then just positional? :rolleyes:

I don't remember if he is titled assistant head coach too, I thought that's what Al Saunders was called over there now. I don't know for sure and either way the assistant head coach doesn't mean much other than an excuse to pay him more money.
