My apologies Dictionary.com, chris MYERS will be our starting center next year. If you had any concept of cap numbers you'd understand that Myers' dictates that he is the starting center on the team. You see, guys whose cap number doesn't match up with his role on the team get cut, for example Weaver, Greenwood etc. The front office (who by the way are much more informed than Texans talk posters including myself) have this in mind, especially when they draft. Typically when guys are picked in the 1st through 3rd rounds, the organization has in mind that they want these guys to start at some point because their cap number dictates this. Our defense lacks more legitimate starters than our offense. Hence, our defense will get more attention in this draft, especially in the 1st through 3rd rounds. Carr Bombed, meet logic. Logic, meet Carr Bombed. You two need to get more acquainted.
Yep, this totally explains why we've drafted strictly defense or spent our money on defense over the last 5 or 6 years...........umm, please get a clue, because you have no idea what you're talking about. The damn argument you just tried (and I use that term loosely, because what you posted makes no sense whatsoever) to make goes against your own argument.
You clearly have no idea what the team needs are, so please stop acting like you do, you can't even spell their freaking names.
OH, BTW, I loved the "Typically when guys are picked in the 1st through 3rd rounds, the organization has in mind that they want these guys to start at some point because their cap number dictates this." Dur......really, we expect those guys to start......duh, did we really expect that captain obvious?
and it doesn't matter if our "Our defense lacks more legitimate starters than our offense. Hence, our defense will get more attention in this draft"....we've thrown a crapload of picks at our defense "guy" , which tells me we have talent and coaching may be a problem....also regardless of that crap, asking for one drafted center isn't asking for the team to go "offensive heavy" or asking them to throw every pick available at the offense. (newsflash, even if you get what you want, which is all defense...this team is still going to take offensive players)

I'm just saying god forbid we might fill one of the teams biggest needs by drafting a freaking center in a deep center draft......wow, heaven forbid if we draft a center in a deep center stacked draft. Nope, that's totally off the wall and will never happen.
One of our biggest problems last season was our scoring offense..despite being one of the best offenses in the league last season, we were one of the worst scoring offenses last season. I wonder why? Maybe because our center sucked total ass and was a complete liability in the short yardage running game, which might cause us to draft one high in the draft....umm I don't know. But yeah lets go with your math.... cap space (which BTW all is tied into the defense) + 'dictated players' (whatever the hell that means) + your made up bullcrap = no drafted lineman/offensive backfield players, that we need. We'll see how that works out.
