I would love this pick up, for the value of it if nothing else. He will be in the late 2nd, maybe 3rd. A good trade down could net a CB, Slaton, and a pass rusher like Groves or Lawerence Jackson

He is suposed to be a great ZBS fit too
 
I think Slaton in the third round could potentially be a steal. He struggled a bit this year, but he is obviously a good runner. How is he in pass protection, can't say I ever remember seeing Slaton block anybody out there at West Virginia in that option scheme.
 
I dont reaally like the way Slaton runs, but I wouldn't mind picking him up in the third...That would be sort of a steal IMO....
 
I bet he goes in the 4th round. Smallish guy who has some Dom Davis like qualities but not a starting feature back imo.
 
I've said this for a while.

I think he looks like a poor man's Reggie Bush.

Same skill set, but not as fast, not as quick, & Bush has better hands.

If your going to do this, take a smaller guy to play the slot....who would in my mind steal targets away from Jacoby Jones, btw. I'd just as soon hold our water and take one of the tatter tot WRs as a playmaker. .... there's a herd of them this year including Donnie Avery, Lavelle Hawkins,Devin Lowery,C.J. Hawthorne...you are taking an under sized back to play the slot on third downs and run special teams for you. Get those tatar tot guys a heck of a lot cheper than Slaton in the third round. They bring the same thing to the table in my mind as Slaton does...and Jamall Charles....and Johnson of East Carolina... The #1 Rb untill I hear other wise is ahmen Green.
