Secondary Success?

Rookie
Noticed the thread on sacks, but it's also the secondary's responsibility to come up with big plays! How many Interceptions will we come down with and who will lead the team?

Robinson - 6, (2 TD's)
Faggins - 3
Sanders -3
Glenn - 5 (1 Td)
Earl - 2
Greenwood - 2
Wong -1

****And 4 other int's somewhere in the secondary w/ 1 TD!!!***

I forecast -

Robinson - 3 (teams realize their best bet is to not test him and don't throw his way as much)
Faggins - 2
Sanders - 1
Glenn - 5
Earl - 1
Coleman - 3
Babin - 1
Greenwood - 2
Wong - 2

and probably 1 or 2 unaccounted for by the above players...

Who is this Sanders fella? I expect another big year from Dunta because teams still arent going to want to pass Glenn's way either.

Sanders was cleveland's version of Faggins! From the "TRUE" Browns fans, they know this guy was a player and they're really upset to lose him. Everyone keeps saying, look out, he may break the nickle package, ahead of Faggins, but at least on dime coverage. This will be grea for us, especially against the Colts!

Robinson - 5 (TD)
Glenn - 6 (2 TD)
Coleman - 4
Earl - 3
Sanders - 2 (TD)
Faggins - 2 (TD vs. Colts to seal win @ Reliant Stadium :heh: :thumbup )
Babin - 1
Greenwood - 2
Wong - 2

Sanders will come in during nickle & dime situations and I believe he will be Coleman's back-up next year...

Oh and if Lord makes the team and sees the field I could see him getting an INT...

Robinson - 4
Glenn - 3
Coleman - 5
Earl - 2
Faggins - 3
Sanders - 1
Babin - 1
Greenwood - 2
Wong - 3

Robinson 8
Glenn 3
Coleman 4
Earl 0
Faggins 2
Sanders 0
Babin 0
Peek 2
Wong 2
Greenwood 1

my sleeper - Payne 1 returned 84yds for TD :shocked

Im not saying we don't need int's this year but i think our main focus needs to be on limiting our opponents passing yardage. We were torched at times last year and our ineffectivness at stoping the pass was a major factor in our short comings on the defensive side of the ball. As for the interceptions the more pressure we get on the ball this year the more int's we will have. Last year we were horrible at putting pressure on the qb and except for the season drob had we didnt really force too many int's.

We need pressure on the QB from our front 7.

We need our corners and safeties to communicate a lil better.

1 of our inside Backers needs to do better in 1 on 1 coverages.

Safeties definately need to do a better job of rotating and helping out.
