Seattle Seahawks - Game 5 - Worst loss yet?

Working?
I know the game is not "officially over" and everything, but unless President Bush becomes embarassed that his hometown team is losing and orders an evacuation of Seattle, I feel this game is beyond reach. We are down 25. Based on our scoring average, we are going to get one more touchdown. Alexander is on pace for at least 2, maybe 3 more. Things are ugly.

Why is this the worst loss yet? Because at no point in the game did we have a chance. At least against the Bills, we had hope. Against the Steelers we contained Parker for a while and only lost out because of some stupid plays. The Bengals we took down to the wire. The Titans were close until the 3rd. Against the Seahawks, our offense has gone 3 and out, and our defense has given up about 5 yards every play so that the Seahakws slowly but surely inch toward the goaline. It hasnt been turnovers, or penalties really, just that there team is much, much more talented and much, much better coached. I could find solace with losing based on turnovers, or losing based on penalties, or losing close games because at least I knew that those things were easily corrected with better coaching and a little good luck. There is no silver lining to this blowout. You can't coach talent, and even if you could, Dom "open mouth" Capers couldn't do it. I have started to feel pity for this team. When I see Carr talking to Pendry, I almost wish I could hear what they were saying. I feel bad for Capers. What is he supposed to say at Halftime? You know why good coaches can make motivational speaches? Because they dont have to do it every single game. If you are rarely down at halftime, its much easier to spur your players. We are ALWAYS down at halftime. We have never led a game this ENTIRE season.

Here are a few good things I saw tonight that I've never seen before:
1. Players really trying to block the Point after - Enthusiasum is always appreciated
2. Carr looking off and pump faking - I saw it once tonight
3. Multiple QB pressures in one half. Pretty awesome
4. Capers with his mouth closed. I know, I couldn't belive it either.

PS: This isn't related to the post or anything, but the Seahawks leading receiver tonight, Urban, went to my college!! GO TRINITY TIGERS!! (DIV 3)

Technically, I think it's four when the final scoring is done. The announcers overlooked that the fumbled snap where Carr fell on the ball and was tagged down will be logged as a sack.

Anyway, best of luck with the rest of the season and the post season. You guys are troopers to hang in there for the tough times. Believe me, I know what it's like. You guys are a great fan base and very classy. Much respect to you all.

keep your heads up guys. If that's possible, Carr looked better than I thought he would. Your real problem is that defense.
Good luck the rest of the way.

Nope. May be mistaken, but a fumble followed by a fumble recovery is scored just like that and does not count as a sack.
