I certainly would've acknowledged last season that it is possible that this organization wouldn't be the one that would ultimately succeed. However, never in my wildest dreams, did I think it would lead an unmitigated disaster like this! I've been humbled a fair amount by the happenings of this season.
 
SFA won their conference championship!! This is the only football that I'm giving a rat's ass about these days (and only because my boy is on the team).

No way! The last positive thing I said about the Texans was that they might win vs. the Jets. And that was against my better judgement. This team is pathetic and its fan-base deserves better. I dont mind people saying positive stuff, but I aint joining. :P
 
Cheer up guys. It's tough to be the Texans fan but, we've been through this many times before and I am sure we will survive.

I was on vacation this weekend where it was impossible to watch or hear the Texans game...for the first time in franchise history I didn't watch, hear, or even frantically refresh some gamecenter thing in order to keep up with the game.

Best Sunday I've had in a while!

OK, got it! I have stopped wasting time and emotion on Sundays and my life is better for it. Thank you Texans!
 
I am positively positive that the reverse positve direction of this team will continue in its current positive direction until there are some positive corrections done after the season has been positively concluded...

Tennessee - W - Titans are on the decline, playing a rookie QB rest of season.
@ Philadelphia - L - Vick and the Eagles are just playing way too good.
Baltimore - W - Texans regroup and have a surprising win.
@ Tennessee - W - Rookie QB not getting it done, Texans have momentum after Baltimore win.
@ Denver - W - Broncos are weak, Texans have patched the secondary enough for the Offense to win the game.
Jacksonville - W - Revenge match for the way we lost the 1st game, Texans watch the remaining games just to see us miss out on the playoffs.

Finish the season 9-7.

Well, I do think that the TN games got more manageable.... at least this one with Rusty playing QB. I'm sure Kerry will be back for the second and then.... well, you know what happens next.

Maybe it's just my Texans flinch instinct, but when is the last time we made a backup, young, old, rookie, inexperienced, or no-name QB look bad?

It's the Texans - they create superstars.
