Saints away game!

Allright people! Everyone wear Battle Red tomorrow no matter where you may be. Look for us and cheer when you see us on tv. We will be representing all of you proudly!

We're leaving tomorrow morning at 8 from Tomball...and we'll probably stop in Lake Charles for a casino hit. Look for us on the road, I already decorated the SUV in Texans gear.

Estimated Time of Departure - 25 freaking minutes!!!!!

Joe and Big Toro - I've got both your numbers. I'll send you a message once we get down there. Our plan is to be drinking, checking into hotel, drinking, lunch at Mother's, drinking, more drinking, maybe Harrah's, drinking, and then heading to the game. We are also going to mix in some more drinking during the day.

I'll give you a buzz later. Got to hook up with my fellow TEXANS fans for sure.

Everyone be safe driving down today.
 
BTW, I want give a shout out and props to Glenn. Die hard Saints fan stuck with about 15 of us Texans fans and yet, he was quite the host!!

The entire experience was awesome! Yes Glenn was a great host! The whole city of New Orleans was a great host! I could not believe all the love and support we got from most of the people! Fantastic trip!

Came real close to beatin on some doors about 0530! Figured you guys needed a WAKE UP call!!:lol:

I told the check out guy what I wanted to do and he BEGGED me not too! "MAM, you really wouldn't wake um up would ya? They just got here and believe me, they need some sleep!" I gave him a huge TEXAN wink and told him, "you bet your happy a** I would!!" :evil::winky: Bill gets a pass on the power nap thing!! Hell, if our Texans can nap for 4 quarters, then so can Bill!:zzz:


Yes, what happens on road trips, stays "on the road." BUT, boy, do I have some stories to tell! Bet if I charged a nickle or two I would have my next roadie paid for!!:)

Talk about a party, Friday night we lost one guy and he did'nt show up to our hotel till 11am Saturday morning. He said he had been at bars and stip clubs all night. I stayed out every night at least till three or four in the morning, and to top it all off Sunday morning im still hungover so I hit I-10 and about 40 minutes later I See a big sign that reads Welcome to Mississippi! I was like WTF! :facepalm:

It was really nice to see everyone and to meet a couple of people from Message Boards that I had not met yet.

Guys, I had a blast in New Orleans. I have even lost my voice as a result :-)

It was great seeing everyone at the game and meeting the new folks. I was pleased with the seats that we had. No complaints at all. The Saints fans were very nice although I got the same question that I normally get...Who are you dating on the team?? smh... I was good seeing the guys up close and personal after the game too. Mark and I lost the rest of yall because I thought yall was following us to the buses....

Everything else stays at the road trip. :kitten: But, I will say, it was a good start in bringing in #29. The party continues all week for me. I will be still celebrating my birthday at the game/tailgate on Saturday.

I was definitely following the wrong group of fans! lol I kept asking "where are we going, are we headed for the buses?" Next thing I know, we're on Bourbon street!! :drunk:

Kara will be celebrating her BD with ya at the "girls" game Kay! Her's is on the 30th!!!

I dopn't remember no stinkin' buses! But I can verify that we walked the Quarter. Every bit of it 2 or 3 times I think. Kinda lost memory after The Dungeon...

Yeah, that's the place I was trying to describe to you last night. Joe confirmed it for me this morning. He was still with us at that point. Then he went off somewhere with the homeless.

Holy crap did we have a great time in the Big Easy!!! I will be okay if I never hear Who Dat for the rest of my life though. LOL The atmosphere around the stadium was great and the fans were too. It is all a blur but after looking at the pictures I came to the conclusion that I had a blast. :cool:

It was only for a minute till I go said Holy**** and I sped to the first turn around then I took the short cut through I-12 and bypassed New Orleans. You should have seen my face when I saw the sign I cussed and woke michelle up and and she goes "did that sign say welcome to Mississippi" and in a squeeky inbarrased voice I said "yea." It was pretty halarious!
